This would be the perfect bike for me, I hope it comes to Brazil someday.

This Tracer version with golden wheels and black fairings looks really cool. I got a blue 2016 model. Still happy with it. Instead of the fancy TFT display they should have given her USD forks.

They are finally coming in the next round of upgrades. Same for the MT but the Tracer will get them first.

@@meoffjack with the recent upgrades to the brakes, further tweaks to the suspension, the new dash etc I wouldn't expect it for another 12-18 months though.

how is the front suspension compared to previous model?

Great video man! I have a few questions for you since I'm considering to buy this bike. How does it fell in the corners with respect to the mt-07? (I know it should have better suspension, but spec sheets sometimes are just spec sheets...) If you had the chance to try one or more of its closest rivals (such as the tiger sport 660) how does it feel compared to them?

I owned both plus now tracer 9 and tracer 7 slightly is better than mt07 but still forks are the biggest weakness of the bike

the 660 has a slightly smoother engine with a touch more power but the Tracer is livelier and has more torque. While the suspension is budget it is far better on the latest models than earlier ones but even just changing the fork oil to a slightly heavier weight oil can make a huge difference. If you are a half decent rider you'll have no issue in bends and corners and no issues keeping up with 1000cc+ bikes until well in to 3 figures.

Windscreen is not completely block the wind but you can take a taller aftermarket.

Nice video! Would you take the 700 over the 900 for touring and daily riding?

You can do these two with both bikes and no problem. 700 is a bit better in the city and cheaper. Also you can tour with 140-150 km. With 900 you can tour of course faster but in the city it will cost you more for gas and it isnt so agile.

The GT version of the 900 has cruise control which is good for touring and the bigger engine could/may be more comfortable over long distances as you will be cruising at lower revs, and the 700 has a tamer throttle for everyday city riding.

Very nice video. I have 2 questions: 1) is this a good bike for first motorcycle? 2) the seat height I have read is 835mm. Is it very high for a guy 1.7m?

If t7 has traction control. it is very ok for the first bike. but she has not. I do not recommend. Try Triumph Tiger 660.. It would be better for a beginner..

Cp2 is a great engine. I have it. A little bit of on of because gas is wired but in this category of bike is My favorite engine. I go everywhere. Alone to have fun and with my wife with sidecase. Great bike for the price

@@georgem2456 yesterday I put gas on. Tank is 17 liter I did 15,5liter after 375km so 24km with 1 liter of gas. In all this 375km was 50% city 25% highways and 25% mountain curves. Plus in city the engine is not hot at all. Even in summer with hot temperatures in the city traffic no problem. A little bit sometimes on my right calf but it’s ok. I tryed 10 Days ago the new ktm 890 and I drove 40 min in city traffic and my leg was hurt from the hot engine

@@georgem2456 the seat, for me after 100km is pain. I bought on Amazon a cover and I fix that. The Michelin road 4 are not bad but now I switch with pirelli Angel st, another story. And I think the mono regulation with a button like Kawasaki versys should be better instead use the screwdriver. Last is the seat is 835mm from ground so everyone can use the bike without problem ( it’s the light bike of the category) but for me that I am 181cm I will prefer a higher seat. But with the cover seat that I bought on Amazon I add 2cm more so now for me is perfect. It’s not off road oriented. In future I will switch the bike only for a sport adv like the new benelli trk800 cfmoti800 or some like that. To be honest tracer 9 is bigger more comfort faster ecc . But 120cv are too expensive in terms of gas, and if u will use the bike a lot this will hurt ur wallet A lot. If u stay a week touring in 1000km are 300-400$ more gas. Tracer 9 is 14-15km with 1 liter gas. So keep it in mind. If I want to know more feel free to ask

One of the best looking bikes on the martket imho. Aren't those Road 6 GT's mean for heavier bikes though? I think you need the regular ones for this.

@@motoraw I think the sturdier carcass of the GT is making the rear so easy to slide out for you. But if it works for you, it's all good :D. Should last you an extra long time those.

Αν μένεις κοντά σε θάλασσα πολύ πιθανόν όπως τα περισσότερα μηχανάκια. Θεωρώ πως χρειάζεσαι μια πιο μεγάλη ζελατίνα.

The new dash looks great on this bike and the Tenere. Not sure why with the MT-07 it looks that bad.

because it's a floating tablet and there's nothing around to compensate, meanwhile on tracer and tenere is well integrated in the motorcycle design

transalp 750 is definitely more touring/confort oriented than tracer 7, tracer 7 is mostly a lifter mt07 with some aerodynamics fairings, so much more sporty to ride but not the best option for long distances

Το Yamaha Tracer 7 είναι σαφώς καλύτερο από το Tiger Sport που έχει πολλά εργοστασιακά ελαττώματα. Yamaha σημαίνει ποιότητα.

This is a good bike indeed, until Suzuki announced that they will release the V-Strom 800 standard version.

Be careful when you grab a handful of throttle on bends like that. Doesn't take much to set the rear loose.

Does nobody notice that super ugly shield on the exhaust downpipes. For me a reason to change the standard exhaust by a complete other brand, with bonusbetter sound.

Then you are going too fast as you change down so engine breaking is more aggressive. There are a number of things you can do to smooth it out, let the revs drop lower first, as you change down you raise the throttle a tiny bit but the easiest way is to use more clutch for longer and feather it out.

Τα λάστιχα είναι όντως αξιοσημείωτα και το προσέχει πλέον φουλ στα μηχανάκια της. Και στο Τενερε επίσης είναι high end. Ναι είναι πολύ ευχάριστο και ευέλικτο στην οδήγηση ειδικά εντός πόλης βοηθάει πολύ.

I got told the other day that I had an 'old gits bike' and I should buy a Multi. For one the keyboard warrior is nowhere near as fast as he thinks he is, and two, having ridden all of the Multis I doubt any of them could keep up with this in the tight twisties. Maybe the 950 but thats pushing it.

😂😂 Δεν είναι τόσο σημαντικά, ειδικά σε low budget μοτοσυκλέτες πολλοί το βάζουν μόνο και μόνο για το θεαθήναι και τις περισσότερες των περιπτώσεων ένα συμβατικό είναι καλύτερο.

@@motoraw 10 χιλιαρικα δεν τα λες και low budget και απο την στιγμη που ολος ο ανταγωνισμος βλεπε transalp 750,versys 650 εχουν ειναι λιγο κοροιδια.Μην μιλησουμε και για το traction που μεχρι και κατι σκουτερ 125 εχουν πλεον.Καλυτερα να πας στον μεγαλο αδερφό εστω και μεταχεισμενο παρα αυτο

@@theodorosvasilakis4117 Συμφωνώ δεν ειναι budget αλλα ειναι 9 και όχι 10 με την αρχική στα 9390, θα σου κοψουν και το κατι της. Traction και λοιπα ηλεκτρονικά ειναι για όσους την θέλουν για πρώτη μηχανή. Τοσα χρόνια που δεν υπήρχαν αυτά πως οδηγούσαμε? ποσες φορές αλλαζουν την χαρτογράφηση νομίζεις.. όλοι το βάζουν στο sport και το αφηνουν εκει. Κατα την γνώμη μου ο καρπός τα κάνει όλα..
