How hard to ride in sand dunes for the tenere?

Same as riding in sand with any other 200+Kg bike - not an easy task. You have to ride standing up - as soon as you'll sit the front will dive into the sand. At the end its all about throttle and keeping the front wheel up over the sand. Specifically for the Tenere 700 - with the front oem springs youll have a harder time - sand and soft suspension does not work well together. Its doable for sure but much better with a correct rated springs - or different aftermarket upgrade. The rear shock can take it but will also run better with a proper rated spring. Hope it helps, if you any more questions please do. Cheers

@@erez1984 i so much thinking of swapping my r1250gs to a tenere, the only problem is the tenere’s seat height, its quite a tall bike and i am 5.4

@@ADVdiary You can easily lower it with lowering links (40-50$ on Ali) and moving the forks up inside the triple clamps. I have a few friends around your height mark with lowered T7 and they love it, so if seat height is your only doubt with the T7 it can be solved. If you have more doubts let me know.
