@@phillipbatho3213 I guess they do not want to make money... I was interested when they first came out but since I have yet to see one and the miserable dealerships near me I have looked elsewhere and given up interest in buying one...
Nice scoot Too bad in my State (OK) they are rarely available....and if so, at a premium screw that

Agreed...
Why isn’t Yamaha bringing the world raid or extreme models to the USA that are being sold in Europe?

They do not want to make money obviously and we have a lot more off roading available here... I cannot believe that they could not up production if they wanted to.. I have yet to see one of any of the variations and most Yamaha dealerships are multiple brand sellers more interested in the 4 wheelers .
This is a dream
It looks good.
The two dealers in my area have had a total of three of these since they came out in 2020. Why aren't they making more of these? Only Yamaha products I see are dirt bikes and R3's.

Same here in Houston Texas most of my Yamaha dealers laughed at me, everyone that wants to buy one pre-orders and deposits are mandatory to get your hands on one I've never seen a new one on the showroom floor, only used with 50k miles...
Needs tubeless tires! Even the World Raid version doesn't have tubeless :(

You want tubes for bikes like this. Buy tubes with extra thick walls for more durability.
Been needing something for 30 miles of highway commute but still happy on a bit of dirt/ Gravel country road. Debating if this is the one. though maybe lacking highway comfort but I don't want a GS/versys 1k/concours

get a super tenere not the 700
I'm afraid that's not a 2023 model. No LED turn signals and no LCD screen

It is. The US model doesn't have the TFT display and LED turn signals til 2024. Euro versions have them in 2023.
Where'd you get one I live in Texas and have yet to see one anywhere ! ?

I live in Houston Texas All of the Yamaha dealers laughed at me. Pre-orders and deposits are mandatory to get your hands on one wait times are six months to a year.....😢
Nice 😊
Isn’t this the same as previous years’ models essentially? I think Europe got a 2024 with a new TFT and a few variants with road, rally, and adventure focuses. It would be nice to see those eventually make their way to the U.S. Otherwise, Suzuki, Aprilia, Ducati, KTM, and Husqvarna are about to give Yamaha a serious run for their money.
Just don't like all the plastic upfront...isn't there a more basic naked version..?
10K is a little pricey. Should come with panniers for that price.

This is like the cheapest real adventure bike you can buy
Bad compromises made to fit the wet sump (and tall) motor from the MT07 into a raised chassis. Fuel tank is sky high. None of the 2023 European model upgrades are on the USA model. Outrageous turn signals from Yamaha... still! Middling suspension. If it had more power, I'm certain it would have noticeably bad fueling. Yamahas are reliable. I've had a bunch. They rarely make me grin, other than when they start every time. Yawn.

Jeez dude, cheer up FFS! Life's too short to be such a glass half empty kinda guy! You don't sound like you smile much anyway(yawn). If I bought a make of bike that didn't ' make me grin' , I wouldn't buy anymore from that manufacturer 😂😂

@@LeeTillbury fair enough, I'm just bitching because I'd love to inspire Yamaha to actually do what they're capable of with multiple bikes that they seem to shortchange intentionally. I've had a lot of bikes and Yamaha has been the most reliable. The other ones were more thrilling but once they let me down on reliability I can't enjoy them much anymore (Buell, KTM I'm looking at you). I had an XSR900 which was a major giggle machine for the front end wheelying without skill or intention, but the chassis was a shit show out of the box. Why make a sporty engine and saddle it with terrible suspension and brakes? Why make the Niken and give it a small fuel tank and non-waterproof saddlebags? I mean, they can do SO much better but always leave something major off the list. Same here. Would give them all my money if they'd get it all right.

But guess what? You didn’t buy one last year and yet the YMC managed to stay afloat another year. Just some reckless speculation, but the same will hold true this year.

Ugliest guage cluster on the market too. Idk why the japanese slack on guages so much. A 250 dollar cell phone is higher quality and its a 10k+ bike easily
