Oh dear.... Sorry to see the bike on its side with a broken lever and some damage to paintwork. Who among us has not dropped a bike and seen the same result? In my case, with a much less pretty bike than yours. I thought your repair was ingenious. I am thinking, I might keep a pair of locking mole grips under my seat to make such a temporary repair possible. It could have been impossible to ride if you had not happened to have a camera tripod in your bag. Good luck. And thanks for the stylish video.

Hello. Thank you for watching my video. You're right. I was lucky enough to be able to apply what I had and was able to get home safely, but I don't want to imagine what it would have been like without them. I felt the need to hide a spare lever behind the seat.

Hey! Thank you for the nice video! I once asked where you live and you said Kyoto. I recently went to Osaka for the Summer Sonic Rock Festival and rented a motorcycle few days. I traveled around the Ise, Shima and Lake Biwa area. It was such a beautiful view and also nice place to ride. I can still think of those country roads and the sea. I envy you!

予備レバー(先端の玉が折れた使い古し）と針金、ガムテープをシート裏に忍ばせています。また、倒れた際にレバーが逃げれるようにハンドルへの固定はある程度緩くしてます。

シートの裏に予備レバーがあれば安心できそうですね！Tipもありがとうございます(^^)レバーの半分くらいのところにわざと切り込みを入れる方もいるようです；；；

Man it sucks when a bike drops... good repair though👍 Really starting to get my mind set on getting a SR400 too, but are hard to find in Sweden..... anyway yours is a real beauty and the filming is perfect, really like it👍 What would you say its sweet spot is when riding in 5th gear? Hello. Thank you for watching my video. The SR400 is a great bike. But don't get your hopes up too much. It's an old design from the 70's and is slower than modern 125cc bikes. But that's also a good thing about the SR400. You can enjoy nature while riding leisurely, and the single-cylinder engine is very simple, so you won't have many troubles. I love to put it in 5th gear and run under 3000 RPM. I hope you can find an SR in good condition in Sweden!

@@richardpaki well enjoying the surroundings is what it is about for me, the Swedish backroads are quite similar to yours and I mostly ride between 50 and 80 km/h on our roads on my Triumph T100, normal roads here are 80km limited… so some overtaking of a “slower” one may be useful from time to time but yours pulls well through 110-120 quite easily I guess… anyway I’m not a “speedmonster”😄 like to take it nice and easy 😄

Then SR might suit you😊SR is most comfortable to run at 50-70km/h. Please take a test drive once 👍

you're right! This year alone, my second clutch lever has already broken. I hope the lever doesn't break in the future.

You must have been bitten by a lot of mosquitoes being out in the woods

Even if you are active in the mountains, you will surprisingly not be bitten by mosquitoes. This may be because it is early in the morning when bedbugs are not as active.😆
