Serow ('goat') is older xt225, which was discontinued in 2007. Xt250 has 25cc more, with somewhat higher hp and speed; some also call it 'serow'. The xt250 continues to be sold, and has fuel injection (vs carb on xt225). xt225(~240lb dry) is ~40lb lighter than the xt250. Else they are pretty similar.

Thanks for the message SEROW has also undergonea model change and is now 250cc The SEROW sold in japan is sold as XT250 overseas Production of SEROW ended in japan in 2020
