Yamaha's new XMAX pairing instructions

Yamaha's new XMAX adapted the new instrument cluster can display information from the user’s smartphone
as well as function as an onboard navigation system.
The cluster consists of a 4.2-inch color TFT infotainment display and a 3.2-inch speedometer display.
What you can do with this new meter
1. This instrument cluster enables connectivity between the bike and the user’s smartphone.
By installing the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect (Y-Connect) app,receive phone calls or email/texts
as well as perform other operations, such as correcting the time displayed on the clock.
Also, the user can access and check information about the bike on the smartphone app,
such as machine running history.
2. Onboard navigation system
By installing the Garmin StreetCross navigation app for motorcycles on the user’s smartphone,

I paired my 2023 XMAX in no time. Next up synch my new Bluetooth helmet. I had no problem. I just love the new features. Thank you Yamaha!

So no need to reconnect everytime? Just turn on bluetooth and go?
Streetcross 4 map can use. Y conneck tak boleh sambung ke motor.
Mine lose its ability to receive calls and messages notification. No idea how but it once has notification that permission to access call and messages apps no longer accessible. Any idea how to fix this? I already re-install the app but nothing fixed
After installing and connected streetcross, received message: invalid product ESN. Any advice?

How about life battery? My last bike is NMAX, i have bad experience after connected to app via Bluetooth, past few day battery gone😢. That's way the reason now i change to XMAX. So I'm still worry about that😢
Can't it be made easier , just like cars do with carplay and android auto? Also i gotta as since i've seen some other motorcycle brands system, if you lock the phone screen, the maps keep working or does the vehicle screen turn black?

At first it did fine. I don't know from June, it begin to bug that the dashboard unit and the phone seems lose connectivity and the map begin to endlessly loading and the gps locations seems didn't move since last location although it is fine in the phone's app. I thought it was because the phone screen was locked, but eventually it will not resolved the issue, the gps service came broken. But strangely, riding log at y-connect record the trip completely without losing data and at phone's app, the trip history is also intact. How did they messed up like this?
Paired it once everything ok. Every time I started my bike had to open the app to connect the phone to the bike... In my car I connect automatically the moment I start up the engine... Then I accidentaly pressed the "unpair" from the app and from that moment it never paired again.... My opinion is that it does not worth the extra money from the moment its pain in the @ss to make it work for everyday use...

Navigating system doesn’t work in my country The whole application doesn’t work in my country They offer me another application that accesses my phone and music only. Sometimes works other times don’t, weird system to be honest.
Is the motorcycle compatible with iOS devices?

Very bad navigation system. Each time before riding takes 10min to set up. Very annoying app... Yamaha its 2023, why you coudnt make something more user friendly and easier? Dissapointed.

Huh actually its pretty fast if just for connecting to Garmin not even one minute. Only at the begining which takes quite a time set up the emails and downloading the maps. Then again garmin maps is still inferior to google maps...

Complicated. Apple CarPlay or Android Auto could have solved it. Classic Yamaha looking to do something different but complicated. This is 2010 tech why are we going backwards Yamaha?
私は日本人です。国内で10月に購入した。このチャンネルも日本語ではない。 国語選択可能にするべきです。またまともな取説もありません。もっとStreet Cross Y-connectに関する説明書を公開すべきである。付属の取説で対応できない。 またペアリングしても満足に応答しない。いい加減早期改善して欲しい。 Xmaxは日本向けではないのでしょう？足つき性も同様です。 国内むけリリースでないなら、日本国内では販売すべきでないとおもうが？ 一度ぺアリングしたらスマホ、車両電源ONで接続すべきと思うが、 また、企業ポリシーが最近国外重視になっている。YDSー1からのユーザーを忘れていないか。
