Yamaha RX100 was the go-to bike for two-wheeler enthusiasts back in the 80’s and early-90s. Back then, the Yamaha RX100 not only set a benchmark for two-stroke motorcycles but also single-handedly changed people’s perspective towards motorcycling.
The Yamaha RX100 was launched in November 1985 and the company kept manufacturing it until March 1996. The government’s decision to pull the plug on all two-stroke motorcycles ended of the Yamaha RX100's reign in India. But the success story carries on even today
The RX100 was the result of Yamaha going back to the drawing room after the RD350 failed to light up the market. But even Yamaha couldn’t have anticipated the outcome of their radical approach, making the Yamaha RX100 the legend it is today. The best example of this is that enthusiasts are still willing to handover hefty amounts of money in order to own a well-maintained example of the RX100.

Bro your videos are always informative today I come to know that what is the difference btw sleeved & unsleeved thanks to maxil bhai which he explained perfectly and you have took right decision because imported are not guaranteed unless they are expensive and Indian parts doesn't give good performance and durability I think so and your block is sleeved it performed very well these days not bad I wish your bike get ready soon to rock on roads

how we can install 62mm piston in rx135? when i have bore the block the liner of the sleeve is coming out

Very good stuff! Looks like a good sleeve job. You don't get imported piston for RX100, whatever they say as import, is just some delhi fake because RX100 was not a global product like the 135 & King. So buy a good original Goetze/EML piston, make sure clearance is set right, use the chamber only if you know how to jet it right.

@@SpeedyLio Yes, but difficult to source parts here. Use Indian-made pistons, with the right clearance, it will last a long time without issues.

Damn your sleeve lasted for 10~12 years! What was the total kms run after sleeving? You should try and get in touch with the 1st owner of the bike and ask him where he did the engine work. Try to get the back story of what happened to your bike. This will be very interesting to know.

@@SpeedyLioif the sleeve has done 40+k kms then the work done is definitely good no one can doubt that. You should also consider the fact that many so called experts have ridden your bike and they haven't been able to tell if it's stock or not. You should probably find out who did the engine work. In my rx I had found the back story and who the mechanic was. Unfortunately the mechanic had retired. But now I have found a reputed mechanic for engine work planning to give my bike to him. To find good mechanic I asked the lathe guys themselves who they thought was the perfect guy for engine work.

Bhai old stock goetze ya sam mila toh dalna..new manufacture wale 2020 k baad se hi vo piston k ports company walo ne chota kardia hai.. compare new piston ports with your old piston you will understand

Bhai unsleeved block rehta toh power wheelie hoti ha 2nd or 3rd gear pe
You even need an original carburettor for original block. Then that pleasant grunt will be there.

From tamilnadu... slapping noise in engine any solution and also noise in clutch bell...if we hold clutch cable there is no noise when we release noise will come in

In that case either change the clutch bless or get it re busshed however the busshing won’t stay too long as I also had the similar properly and got the busing sorted of the clutch bell but one day I wack opened the throttle and there it was back again the sound

change clutch bell, I had similar issue and after changing clutch bell it was solved.
Bhai mene recently engine rebuild kya hai jisme mere pas g1 block hai unsleeved but wo oversized hogaya yani ki ab uska size 1.25mm hogaya hai aur wohi size ki sam piston main daala bhai problem ye hai ki wo performance bilkul nahi deri me mecanic se bhi baat ki to wo bolte ki sleeved mat karwao nawa block hi kharidlo bhai main confused hu sleeved karwao ya nahi Waiting fpr ur reply!!!!!

Sleeved doesn't matter if it's installed properly there are problems which arise when sleeve is not installed properly or the sleeve material is not good means it's sub standard

@@SpeedyLio Sleeved engine blocks can have reduced heat dissipation compared to a solid one-piece casting. Additionally, it increases weight, are less durable, reduces engine longevity and increases oil consumption. It brings down the value of the vehicle. So you cant say it doesn't matter! A good aftermarket alloy sleeve used for performance costs more than an actual bore price.

@@SpeedyLio sleeved unsleeved pdkne ka tarika bta dera hu fitting engine mein pkkd skta tum stock jo original rx 100 ka silencer hai usme hi jb block sleeved ho jta hai or usme bore kr k chalate ho toh orginal or usme awaaz ka fark rehta awaaz dabta hai sleeved wale mein or original ke sound or beats bahut zyada kadak hota hai or pickup chorna heating issues ye toh sleeves ki quality uski thickness pe depend krta hai
