Takes me back to 1977..I was 17 ..bought one of those in silver brand new for £660..had some of the best days of my life around that time... great to see one again...🏍️

Yeah always takes me back too riding these classic bikes, remembering all the good times me and my mates used to have on them :)

The old 2 strokes are great and takes me back to being 17 and having an X7 on L plates😊 I’m now restoring a 1978 X7 and I’ve got a 1980 donor which might end up being restored as well🤣 I’m in Wickford and next time I’m in Chelmsford I’ll drop in and have a butchers. Looking forward to seeing the RD restored👌🏻

That was funny at the end 🤣 the Rd sounded fine to me I would just get a seat cover & detail it all new tyres ect. Good to go more original less colour off course 👌

Look at the surface of the car park concrete. intentionally striated and very rough !. Smart thinking considering it's a motorcycle dealership. Parking; stopping, U turns etc.

Well as for smart thinking the concrete was there before the bike shop… never noticed a problem or thought about it before … if anyone has trouble riding over that then maybe motorcycling is not for them .. you should see that state of our roads 😂

Yeah it really did sound nice… body work has been sent off so will do another video on it .. should be a really nice bike when it’s done, the engine is perfect 👍

Thanks, Paul doesn’t have a CBX but one of the others guys do, between them all they have quite a few vintage bikes , when he brings in the CBX i’l do a video on it, I have ridden a few before, one of them was a Moto Martin turbo CBX … which was interesting to ride :)

Awesome, Would of been nice to keep all the bikes we’ve owned , just open the garage and see them all would be so good now, the problem is when you have them you just get a new bike and move on, you don’t think about them in future at the time

Ha , the breakfast was good and of course the RD was good too, ha it weren’t that long ago.. but was a nice day , Paul’s skin is like leather now anyway so he don’t notice it :)
