Yamaha R7 Stands, Spools and Chain Slack

Yamaha R7 Stands, Spools and Chain Slack, I figured this would be a better video following the oil change as its just as important. Checking chain tension is something that should be don't constantly as well as cleaning it. I've added the installation of swing arm spools as well as I think its the best long term solution to using your rear stand.

Great videos, loving the consistency! If there was anything I could say from a viewer's perspective, it would be to stop overlaying music while you're talking. It doesn't necessarily drown you out completely, it's just a little distracting when I'm trying to listen to what you're saying, especially while you're vlogging on the bike and there's the engine/exhaust sound on top of the music. Thanks for the content!

No you don’t need to be on the bike, kzread.info/dash/bejne/gKCgxZtqo7TQldo.html I did a vid on it if you want to check it out, you can also do the adjustment on stands which makes it easier but I wanted to show the most common way to do it. Cheers!!

  • @ScoutsOut

Thanks man much appreciated, I’ve always used PJ1 blue label and it’s been great but the gunk left all over the inside of the rim was always annoying to clean. The Mech where I bought my bike swore up and down about this maxima synthetic so I figured I’d give it a try, so far much less gunk all over the rims and seems to remain lubed

Hi I was wondering if you by any chance know if the Rizoma stealth winglet mirrors meant for the R1 will fit the R7… I been scouring the net and KZread but no one seems to know… just thought I’d ask another fellow R7 owner Also wanted to know your thoughts on deleting the turn signals and somehow integrating them into the headlights and taillights

I know the flush mounts for the MT 07 fit but they dont look like a perfect fit and need to be spliced in, I’m currently working on the integrated tail light and license plate video. I will say the integrated tail light for the R6 i bought is a perfect fit and straight up plug and play, but I’m struggling with the license plate bracket. The license plate light will be a simple re-wire but the plate for the license plate has been a pain. Ill try and get that vid out NLT next week but i am going to have to rig the plate a little.
