R3 has metzler tyers nissin abs brake maintenance low spares parts very cheap yamaha not charge any extra cost like kawasaki (3000 only general charge with out any reason) 42bhp more power full then n300 more stable at high RPM very less vibrations Kyb suspension Gear indiacator Shift indicator YESS YAMAHA

An almost perfect way to compare the two beauties and powerhorses together. Beside the miss on the slipper clutch, head lamps effectiveness at night, top speed, ground clearance, rear suspension adjustability and longer running cost; I was convinced to an extent that I wanted to swap my Duke 390 for the R3. Kudos to you Dino for such an aspiring video!

Love your reviews, It would be really helpful if you can talk about the after sales services and spare part costs. As the price difference is not much if you think about years of usage. There are talks that Kawasaki after sales scenario is really a pain area and it hurts your pocket and we would really hope that this issue is addressed. Yeah without slipper clutch it ain't a proper trackbike , and downshifting won't be fun

What about running costs? A ninja 300 1st service costs nearly 6500 INR and R3 costs only 2200 INR. Also the spares and parts on the ninja are very expensive.

R3 doesn't comes with deltabox frame, it has normal diamond frame, thats a shame!! There's a reason y spares are cheaper in r3

Yamaha r3 anyday.....had a test ride of both the bikes..and the r3 immediately caught my attention with the drop dead gorgeous looks and the unmatchable engine refinement...and hence went ahead and got the r3..no regrets at all ..its the best sub 300cc bike in the segment

@@prachethsp7967 will u be satisfied after buying a product ..where u have many service intervals in a year and lot of maintainance cost where as at the same segment bike yamaha r3 provides low service intervals and major service centres very and trust me Yamaha wouldn't disappoint at AFTERSERVICECUSTOMERSATISFACTION ... i have to agree both these R15 V3 AND R3 looks similar ...where there is huge price difference

Very useful comparo which I was searching for some time. But you missed two things... the all aluminium swing arm of R3 and its high suspension travel (unlikely for an 'R'bike) which is more than CBR 250,much helpful to the touring community out there....
