Very poor and choppy throttle control. If he was close to balance point he would crash for sure.

Ein grosses Lob von mir, der sich seit 40 Jahren beruflich mit Motorrädern beschäftigt hat.Und 30 Jahre Rennstrecke gefahren ist. Danke dir, aber ich muss sagen, dass kann jeder recht schnell lernen. Mit viel Fleiß und Mut. Wenn du nicht Rennstrecke fährst, ist die RN22 die beste R1 meiner Meinung nach.

Been trying to learn on my 05 R1 and been struggling for the past few days to get the wheel up, still building up the confidence to drop the clutch properly which is entirely my problem

Try a stand up wheelie without using the clutch. Just find the right gear (2nd or 3rd) depending on speed and lightly preload the front forks (slight pop) then goose it. Will stand up every time. I can do this consistently on my 05 R1. Sit downs are easier at lower speeds or from a stop"ish". Clutch wheelies can be unpredictable.

I'm doing mines rn on an 09' r1. 1st gear in standard mode but I'm having issues getting up in 2nd. Any advice? And Isn't it crazy how the youtube algorithm works. This was posted back in 2020 and we're all seeing it, liking, commenting now lol. Should blow up even more!

How you doing the wheelies? When you using the clutch its important to have a good technic both hands gas and clutch. it has to play together.

You can easily clutch up a 600 with stock gearing in 3rd gear. You have problems with R1 in second gear? LMAO

You have to have Rpm’s low around 4K, be doing about 35-40pull clutch in, hammer the throttle, quickly release the clutch and it will come up.

did you use rear brake to keep the front lift..or engine braking is enough?

Engine break. With my SMC i ve learned to use the rear break because i crashed. So i recommend to learn it.
