Thank you for this incredible review! Was about to buy the 263 without knowing what touch sensitivity was. As soon as I saw this review I chose the 363 and saved myself from a purchase blunder!

Found a 463 in my local charity shop - stupidly low price so I bought it only on the understanding that I could return it if faulty ... but it's perfect!! Amazing keyboard.

Such a lovely man. Totally unpretentious and a real music lover. Met him in the store once and he is exactly the same. Very genuine and helpful. Not a pushy sales person. 🥰

Hi Rudi, your hands work the magic for sure. How many organ sounds are there on the E363 and 463. Do they have a bluetooth function to allow wireless headphones? I will be getting one of these keyboards, just want to make sure it's the right one.

I have e463 it is best to create some EDMs best groove sounds... The beats in groove are perfect too

That's a great keyboard for its price and if you can connect it to a good external subwoofer, you will be amazed by the quality of the sound. Its own speakers are good at mid and high range but not sufficient for low ends. And those low ends (drums and bass) add a great deal of realism, professionalism and vibe to the sound. That's especially pronounced for the styles. I've been using PSR-E433 for 5 years, and only recently I've connected it to an external speaker set with decent subwoofer, and now I'm completely amazed the by the huge change in the feeling. The instrument also has fancy features such as 6 track sound recording including 1 track for auto-accompaniment, and 8 x 4 set of register memory for quick preset access. Also from external USB you can load new styles! And last but not least, its MIDI can be used to connect it to a PC and that will open a door to limitless possibilities, new sounds, new styles everything...

Rudi just made stuff up. And it changed every time. So your guess is as good as ours...

I have found an annoying behaviour related to the DUAL function on PSR E463: when you tune the DUAL voice keeping its button pressed, this is only valid until you change the main voice assignment. I mean: if I want to keep my setting of DUAL voice with another main voice I cannot do that... unless setting back the DUAL one. Is there a way out for that? Thanks a lot.

I am very disappointed PSR E363 You need to turn the volume knob all the way or else you don't get a good sound, I was told after the fact that outside speaker must be added. Please advice. I thinking of returning.

Thank you so much for this video! I have a question for you. I heard that the Yamaha PSR-E363 have a inbuilt sustain option - that makes it have a static sustain sound. Is this true? And if so how do I turn it on? I know I have the option to buy sustain pedal as well, but hopefully you can answer my question.

Well in E263, you can turn on/off sustain in function option, probably the same option in E363!

Hi nice review. Would you rather recommend the PSR E463 or the Casio CT-X3000/5000 for someone who wants to get creative and experiment a bit? I tried the Casio and the sounds/styles are fantastic but I find its operating system is somewhat counterintuitive. Which one of the two do you like best? Thanks for helping.

There are defiantly a lot of arguments on which keyboard is better. I'm gonna buy a yamaha just because I consider easy and fun to use. Casio has better sounds in my opinion.

Yamaha, what were you thinking? I had an older keyboard, yet even that had decent touch sensitivity. PS. This IS a great company and undercharges for certain products.

I bought a 363 last week and there are two or three keys of the very left Of the piano (g g# and a) that when I hit them they sound a little weird, like I can hear different vibes travelling on the air; comparing to the other keys of the rest of the piano. This happens with the Grand Piano voice, and without headphones. Do yo feel the same when touching those keys?

@@yudipitre5720 Hi Yudi! Oh, I´m glad finally someone understands me. Exactly, the seller now told me it may be because those low notes are "too much" for the internal speakers of the piano, and that I may need outside speakers... So, are you saying the same happens to you? I think it´s the 4th and 5th white keys of the left of the piano, they vibrate like the sound is not really clean, but if you test it with headphones it doesn´t happen. I´m not sure if this is because the piano is actually "cheap" and I´m asking for too much...

@@maxispr you are right in everything, I am so damn frustrated with this. I heard and all the review that it was AWESOME. So here I go order it on line. When I got it and turn the volume up and I had turn it completely in order to kind here good. I said oh he'll no this can't be for real. I was so aggravated, damn I should have stayed with my Casio. Lol I am really considering returning it. I have 40 days. The sound and speaker Suck. 😔

Is the sound the viewer hears from the speakers or the headphones socket?

We recorded the sound straight out of either the line out or the headphone out. So, the sound you're hearing, is just the pure piano, not out of the speakers. But for a small keyboard, the speakers aren't too bad. Let me know if we can help with anything else. Cheers - Murdoch

E463 has line output. If you connect it to headphones or amp, speakers become silent.

@@fatihtasdelen4701 if you connect headphones, the speakers become silent and nobody will hear you playing. That is the reason for headphones output. You will need headphones with 1/4" plug or 1/4" adapter if you use regular headphones. The better headphones you use, the better sound you will hear.

Boss mas maganda ang E363 in terms of feature. Maganda naman ang NP-12 kaso po ang keys niya hindi standard size.

I bought psre463 it's worth every buck before i had a budget of 12k like you but couldn't safisfy my needs so i stretched it a lil bit to 16-17k but worth every penny. And in 12k you will not get 12 watt speakers you will get only 5 watts which itself is a huge difference

It's good, but after some time, you will realize its sound is not the best, no matter what settings you tweak!
