My friend's old fully automatic P-550 turnable stopped working. it would lift the tonearm and start the platter rotating, move a little bit, then return to home and shut off.
Now it's cycling as it should, albeit with a 3x heavier Pickering XV-15 cartridge in place of his 2.5 gram Ortofon LM30 cartridge that might be just too light for the tonearm.
