So I think there is a place in the market for this board, I know I don’t like moving my Fantom’s heavy ass around from place to place. But this is perfect to pick up and take around because of its weight. I also like that it’s highly tweakable

The embargo must have lifted. Starting to see a lot of MODX+ videos now.

Which has better Organ sounds,SX900, MODX+88 & CK88 ?I'm confused which one to buy.I prefer to play more on nice Organ patches.Thanks.

Any info about if they will release the computer software as in the montage m for modx+?

My MODX+ firmware is version 1.00.0, is it the latest one? Any firmware update available (like the one for MODX - 2.5)?

Does anyone know if the keybed from the MODX8 and MODX8+ are the same? I've heard MODX8 keybed is not even close Montage quality or feel.

I think it is the same keybed. You are correct, the difference between the Montage and the MODX keybed is considerable. But, so is the price

Hey...instead of having to fiddle with a damn KNOB...Yamaha should have designed something that AFTER you TOUCH a key it will trigger something...maybe call it something like "AFTER TOUCH" Perhaps?...I think it would be a great function...normally I use both hands to play Keys....I know, maybe I'm wierd...and don't have a third hand to fiddle with KNOBS

It’s been done already, it’s called Montage.

They should have revamped the action. It’s horrible on the 61 and 76 key versions

Apart from more ram, the + also has double the polyphony (128 voices), and rubberized pitch and mod wheels like on the montage (instead of plastic on the regular MoDX).

Too modern sounding for me. Love the CP73 & YC61 REAL MUSIC

Yamaha sounds just like robot. I don't like it. I prefer one from korg.

Yeah... I am laughing that Yamaha really released the "new product" just unlocking some polyphony and memory ...you really have nothing more to show? New pitch and mod wheels? Wow now it's look like 10times more expensive...but wait it's the same plastic case for which you need to use gloves to avoid scratching... Add some real new features like new Analog Engine... or Arp Editor.

Yamaha could've just made a new flagship keyboard, I can't believe they've decided to waste money and make a NEW modx with small upgrades smh.... well its their money wasting not mine😂

There is nothing worse than Yamaha synthesizers these days! The next will be another Modx Plus, but in white. I don't expect anything else from Yamaha. This synthesizer is another Yamaha duck.

@@pm7805 Look at Yamaha's synthesizer history. There is no need to explain anything here. 30 years goes the same without significant improvements and changes. Stagnation, loss of innovation, loss of new developments, endless repetition of clones with the simplest set of functions. After EX5, FS1R, AN1X, SY99, Yamaha has the same bottle of perfume with the smell of rotten meat. After EX5, FS1R, AN1x, SYA99, Yamaha has the same bottle of resin-scented perfume.
