Thanks, super helpful video! My Kodiak 700 had the exact same problem: the starter sounded like it was wheezing, and kept killing batteries. I popped in the new starter, starts like a charm now!
Great video. I was having the same problem with a 2016 Kodiak 700. New battery didn't do it, sounded funny. Opened up the old starter, broken magnet. I'll send you a pic.

i’m having the same problem on my 2017 kodiak, replaced battery , still not starting every time… was going to change spark plug , maybe i should go directly to starter .. thanks
Good video! Do you know if they upgraded the OEM starter? I know they had starter issues before. I'm trying to decide if I should buy OEM or aftermarket.
