Here are instructions on how to download free Packs for Genos 2. You need to log in to Yamaha's site and download the Packs to your computer. Installation in the keyboard is done through the Yamaha Expansion Manager (YEM) application and see the procedure in this video.

Hallo! I want to record a guitar rhythm in a midi with the cordlooper in the Yamaha genos. Is there a way to record the chords from the midi and record them in the midi? Thx

Hi I am from Australia and I have registered my products in Yamaha Australia...these expansion packs are available only in yamaha europe it seems... Is there any way to get the expansion packs or if someone could please share it ????

Hello. I was using Yamaha Expansion Manager on Windows 7 without any problems. I think there was an update? Now Y.E.M. is lagging and acting ridiculously. It does not recognize the Genos 2 info file. There was no such problem until a few days ago and the program was not lagging at all. What is the problem?

How is Genos connected to the PC? WI FI or USB cable.

@@CasperVideo No, I cannot send my own Expansion Package to someone else. Genos2 N27 Info file does not accept YEM. It accepts other submodels.

@@sekorgsound YEM 2.06 and above does not support win7. That's probably the problem.
