Great video! I'm by far any expert in tracks. But, I'm thinking you should be able to leave the brackets in place while the tracks are not in place.

I wish. The tires go over the hubs and will hit the brackets where the tracks flush mount on the hubs. You possibly could leave them on but you would have to remove linkage bolts and to take them off you have to remove the entire bracket anyway. So taking them off is just easier.

I leave the brackets attached to the track when I remove them,it makes it a lot simpler to reinstall

I find the back one much more time consuming, the tracks are heaver and by far harder to line up with the studs. Maybe it will become easier the more I switch them.

they are a wicked pain to line up. They get easier the more you do it. I put it in neutral and try to get them to line up before I lift them into place.

I agree, I struggled to line up the bracket along with the suspension links to get the bolt thru

@@diesel6594 lining up the suspension links is easier with it jacked up higher as you can rotate the track more to get them hooked up.

How many foot pounds do you torque each nut to?

Where did you buy ur tracks and would this fit a 09 grizzley 550? Also can you wheelie with them?

I bought them through the Yamaha dealer when I bought the quad. The have kits to fit most so I would think yes. No I don’t think they will wheelie. They add close to 300 lbs to the machine
