One of the newest contender to the most popular guitar in India - the Yamaha FS80c. We were curious as to how good is this guitar when compared. And hence this video.
Guitars between 7k to 8k is one of the most popular price segments in India and with the entry of Cort AF500c the confusion was natural. With amazing specs like Spruce top and Mahogany back and side the Cort AF500c offered way higher specs than the Yamaha FS80c.
However when it came to actual comparison we found the Yamaha FS80c a tad bit better in terms of built quality, sound and even strings. However since sound is subjective, we urge everyone to see this video and decide what is best for you.

Fx280 is just above 10K and it’s the best in that budget…
Are strings spacing equal of 10mm in yamaha fs80c? I have heard that strings spacing is uneven in this guitar

Yes string spacing is same on both guitars. Nut width is also 43 mm
Which strings do you recommend for FSX80C for balanced tone? Aren’t yamaha strings medium quality?

I bought cort af500mc full mahogany…it’s amazing

Hello! I am very new to Guitar! I alwasys wanted to learn but through years i never could due to some constaints. but i am Finally ready. I have found Cort AF500C, Cort Ad810, Yamaha FS80C and Yamaha F280. i do not know nothing about guitars be it chords build quality strings etc. All i care is that i can keep it for years to come. So i am not just buying it as beginner but also i can use it when experienced. Please tell me!

i would suggest you to try both guitars before buying. I have both FS80C and md39c and like ibanez more than fs80c.

Almost any guitar is a better upgrade than Juarez. Will suggest Yamaha FS80c It has the best durability and sound in this price range

I am not that rich so asking
Cort af500ce is excellent
Try the Ibanez 39c if you have not already. It's in the same price range. I personally prefer it over Yamaha 80c in terms of build and sound quality. It is a great guitar and you should do a comparison with Yamaha 80c.

@@JohnsmusicIn Ibanez does not have an India specific site like Yamaha does and this is an India specific guitar maybe that is why it is not listed. Not sure about your experience and customer feedback but I have found this to be a great guitar for the price. Everyone who has played my guitar has loved it. Maybe you should give it a try :)

Ibanez md 39c guitar fretboard is not finger friendly/ smooth as compared to yamaha

@@AnkurAgarwalstyleofficial I bought mine around 3 months back and have found the Ibanez 39C fretboard to be pretty smooth with good playability. Very easy to slide from one note/chord to another - action also pretty low. Maybe you got a bad deal.

@@prashantgogoi9388 i have seen review video of ebanez md39c by one of the guitarist on his youtube channel who was disappointed by its fretboard. That's why I told you. If you are satisfied than its well & good. Personally I m using yamaha f280 its very good guitar in good sound & finger friendly fretboard .

@@AnkurAgarwalstyleofficial Yamaha 280 is also a great guitar with good sound. But you cannot compare it with Ibanez 39C it is a dreadnought and Ibanez 39c is a 39 inch cutaway. Both will have different sound signatures and used for different purposes. I needed a smaller guitar hence went for Ibanez but good choice with the Yamaha 280 - all the best!

Around 50k the top choices are Cort Gold series and Kepma F1eGA And around 100k Kepma G1eGA is our top choice. Second choice is Taylor 114ce
