Got news for you, they don't make many things as well as they used to. The exception to that is cars. They are better now than the old ones, but they also cost more than they used to. Electronics is the exact opposite.

Im more of a car mechanic type guy but I love electronics and your channel is amazing wealth of knowledge! Cars are better but they are so damn hard to work on now days due to electronics that cant be adjusted like a carburetor was, even with my OBD2 hack software its just not the same, I can take a 1070-1990 car and get it running well with parts that I can make in my garage while I cant do a thing with a new 2016 car except replace parts and hope for the best. Again thank you from the bottom of my heart for your videos my friend! Im a paramedic so I have a stressful job and I use your videos to relax and they work ny making me forget of work.

Took me until I clicked on this video to realize that this wasn't just an amplifier, but a _mixer!_ Awesome. All them potentiometers to clean. Can you demonstrate the 'crashing' of the reverberation chamber?

I have a 60 year old Hammond M3, no reverb in it. I got a reverb unit cheap on epay. It needs work, but it does play. Got junk piled up on it, will have to dig it out, Hammonds were so kewl, used motors to make that Hammond sound. Don

I have a couple 50 year old Shure Vocal Master PA heads with nice reverbs in them. They have that Fender sound.

Hi. I have a Yamaha 85 integrated mixer. Everything works fine except the echo/delay does not work at all. No damage inside or out that I can see. Any idea how to fix? Thanks.

I bought an identical springline to that one 30 years ago, bloody expensive!!, i wanted to make a reverb for c.b radio use, allways made the tx audio sound better for some reason. I think an LM380N drove the springline and the output had a transistor amplifier, it worked really well :-D. I used servisol for cleaning pots, but some people said it ate plastic, worked for me :-D. If the p.a modules were "San ken" or "Stk" they went pop far too easy, perhaps people oveloaded them, i only repaired peoples amplifiers. I bunged a car radio amp and speaker in a box with a pot for audio probing, handy for listening to distortion, often caused by leaky interstage capacitors. All good fun though :-D

Nice video! Which IC does this amp use? Is it a regular STK?

Let's EOL it, Dave style! Interesting about the wood legs...I've never had the opportunity to own nor play with, thought about it once, that's as far as that went! My best pro tripod and head I own, tripod Manfrotto Model #3068 with a Manfrotto Model #116 video head, this thing weighs around 25 pounds! Its an awesome tripod, however due to its weight and adding a pro video camera will insure at the end an event you'll look like a pro body builder! :)

Yes my pro unit weighs a ton. The woody will be sold. They command a high price. Seen some go for over a grand.

Only 2x30wrms but that gets plenty loud with just either vocals or a microphone plugged into some effeciant pa speakers.

Beware of Ebay parts from China. Received the first replacement, obvious pull as leads were soldered. New one, FUBAR. Nice and clean when no load (Headphones) plug in speaker, severe distortion. Need another part. Not happy.

I would expect that the newer mixers use DSP processors which cut down on the electronics that is normally found in mixers but can have problems show up themselves.

I remember when the YT User drh4683 has the video of the 1962 Motorola Stereo Hi-Fi SK76W that has Vibra-Sonic which provides the nice echo sound for high fidelity stereo use like playing an ultimate surround sounds.

It turns out if you made contact with MARANTZ they might be able to get you one as they used those chips in stacking systems and under normal conditions they don't go wrong.

Maybe if you mention the part number your viewers could do the leg work in locating an replacement.

I believe I did mention it in the video. If you listen at 4:11 you will hear me say it is using standard STK-032 power modules. ECG or NTE 1090 is a good replacement. Part is readily available from Chinaland. Customer is now deciding if he wants to spend money on it. My bet is that he will because he is a musician, and uses this for his gigs.

Totally different mount. I'll show these wood sticks of some time. They are professional, like my big camera Manfrotto which I really should be using, I just need 1/4" mounting screw for the camera. I have 3/8" for it because my old pro camera uses 3/8 on the Mount plate.

I'm sure it will be repaired. The owner wants it fixed. Just will be a delay to get the part from the peoples republic. Then there will be a part 2.
