Ali thank you, I'm thinking of this CD player in silver will pair with the A-S801 amplifier. It's a nice deck for all of us who still listen to our CDs.

Yes it's very good unit l have tested 801 but for bookshelf no go for A-s501 is more enough 801 can boost floor standing speakers

It is sold in Finland for 80€ more than the black.

If you're using the analog output, you should enable pure direct. Pure direct disables the digital outputs and LCD screen, so that the analog output gets zero interference from the digital outputs and screen.

​@@americolouro4494 Es gibt noch interessante Player von Marantz und Denon. Sind diese besser? Denon LOBT seine da Wandler Marantz hat 2 verschiedene Filter. Wie ist denn die Verarbeitung dieses Spielers? Metall Gehäuse Kunststoff? Wieviel wiegt das gerät?

Nice cd player ! Which material is that player built of I guess the cd- thing which comes out is probably made of plastics right? The rest is metal ? I'm thinking about yamaha or a denon player, or Marantz... But probably in the dann he price Kategory they will sound equal Hopefully you'rehaving fun with your player

Hi the yamaha A-S2100 is pure analog no Coax only RCA i connecte the cd player by rca

Does it support external hard drives?? Got a 500 gig will that work?

I have yamaha cds 2000

The remote is very cheaply made....just so you'd know, FYI. The labels/sticker peel off very easily.

yes I agree with you only the AS-2100 and as 3100 are comes in heavy steel remote wich is 300 $

I didn't think people even played CDs anymore...these CD deck are expensive .. I've seen them run in the thousands.... don't know if they sound any better than a single disk 300 dollar CD deck like Yamaha deck's.... 👀
