Do you know the Carburetor ground adjustment for the fuel screw ? got same engine but it Dies at full throttle

I Have the same yamaha 4 hp . I cant get my engine to go backwards or in neautral position. It Only Goes forward. I can move the shifter without problem but it it dosnt shift to back or in neutral . If i try shift backwards the propeller stops rotating a bit and if you gas its going Only forward. Kind of dangarous if you start the engine on full gas while standing up in the boat .

I’ve got the same problem. Eventually got it back in to neutral, but it won’t go in to reverse. Did you manage to get yours fixed in the end?

@@scottygair I had to take the leg off and adjust the clamp which allows the engine to shift into gears , it had become lose therefore I couldn’t access neutral

Weet je wat de lucht-brandstof schroef is hier op?

@@taims5165 kijk het is dit zo dat mijn motortje ALLEEN in zn neutraal te hoog loopt, en ik denk dat het de lucht brandstof schroef is want de stationair schroef reageert niet. Alleen weet je ook welke kant hij dan op moet?

Ik heb dezelfde, en ik wou hem 1 keer in zn achteruit doen en toen vloog dat hele ding omhoog omdat ie veel te hoog stationair draait😂

Dat heb ik ook een keer gehad ... dat gebeurde omdat de haak die normaalgesproken op je trim pin zakt er net naast greep (om dat ik toen gewoon achterlijk hard en ruig vaarde) en de motor zichzelf omhoog trok

Klopt ik had m ongeveer een half jaar gestald met benzine nog in de carb en zonder stabiliser dus heb ik 'm schoon gemaakt en opnieuw afgesteld .. dat gaat veel makkelijker zonder de luch kap..( trouwens een buiten boord motor heeft nooit een lucht "filter" meer een kapje die er voor zorgt dat als je ooit zonder motor kap vaart er niet indirect water in je blok word gezogen)
