Yamaha 350 Warrior Review - Grandfather of Sport/Trail Quads
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The Yamaha 350 Warrior debuted in 1987 and was the first ATV to feature electric start. It was also Yamaha's first foray into 4 stroke sport quads, laying the groundwork for the Raptor 660 and YFZ 450. Check out my review to see what its like to ride one today.

Being from that time and growing up loving quads, I begged my dad for a warrior ALOT throughout the 90s. I eventually got a bored, cammed and jetted, 400ex with a pro circuit pipe. I later traded it for a Harley when I was in my early 20s. Now at 35, I bought a clapped out warrior about a year ago. I went through the engine. Did a bunch of other pretty deep repairs to it. And still needs a clutch pack, rear axle and a new air filter setup. It’s all I ever wanted in a quad though. Just to say I got one. Yeah it’s a beginner type bike, super forgiving but can be just fun enough to slide around. The 400 would have just ate it alive but I bought it to have a nostalgic piece from my child hood and to resurrect it. The plastics and seat, and the suspension/swingarm were in good shape so it looks pretty decent for 21 years of age. If can get one for cheap, do it. If you like something easy in all aspects as far as 4-wheelers go, this is it. Great video my friend.

That is awesome! Great story, thank you for sharing. Same here, Im in my late 40s and remember how cool the Yamaha line up was w/ the Blaster, Warrior and Banshee. Best of luck w/ the machine.
Cool video I remember seeing these on the trails as a kid and thinking how cool they looked.

Thanks!
Warrior was my first quad...loved ever second of it... it could do everything just good enough... only thing is learn to slide the ass around turns since it had such a wide turning radius... Damn i Miss those days!!!
loved the video man. great job. 👍 I've always liked the warrior ❤️ I have other more powerful quads now but its one quad I really regret selling. Throw on some banshee suspension and an exhaust and it makes for an awesome and fun ride.

Thanks! They are legendary. Got it started for Yamaha.
I love my warrior 350, wish it was lighter though, was thinking about the raptor but I got a really good deal on my warrior, and came with some aftermarket upgrades that I needed, it came with a rack that mounts on the pull bars and when I go to the dunes or long trails rides I put a fire extinguisher and some tools on it bc most of us ride sport quads and can't carry much stuff.
The only Yamaha sport quad I haven't owned
+2 a arms will make a work of a difference on it.
I really love ATV riding the Yamaha Warrior was my very first ATV that I ever owned and will always be one of my favorite ATVs of all time after that I owned a 2001 Polaris Trailblazer 250 both great ATVs my Yamaha Warrior was a camouflage 1988 model it didn't come factory camouflage it was painted camouflage after the Yamaha Warrior and the Polaris Trailblazer I bought a 1990 Kawasaki bayou 300 4x4 then I went on to a 2002 Honda Recon 250 then to a 2015 Polaris Sportsman 850 and a 1999 Suzuki king quad 300 4x4 but a Yamaha Warrior to me is much nicer to ride not saying any of the other ATVs I have owned are bad I just remember when I had my Yamaha Warrior all of the fun memories of that ATV brings me back to when I was younger and the Yamaha Warrior being the very first ATV I have owned but what I like so much about a Yamaha Warrior is that not only are they great to ride in open areas they are very fun riding in the woods off the beating path and you can just load and unload them very easily into the back of a truck all by yourself and they are a lot easier and cheaper to maintain then the new ATVs I am going to buy another Yamaha Warrior soon I want to have another one for good memories sake I really enjoy all of your videos keep them coming.

Great feedback. Thank you for sharing.
Warriors are so easy to wheelie. The seats are way too low though. I had an upholstery shop raise my foam 1.5” and it really gave my knees a break. Perfect height now.
Awesome video 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Ok great. Just go at your own pace and dont feel pressured to do anything you aren’t comfortable with. And get a good helmet. Its a great hobby. Enjoy!
