I traveled to Yamaguchi in Japan.
Yamaguchi City was ranked third in the New York Times' list of 52 places to visit in the world in 2024.
This time, I'm not traveling to Yamaguchi City, but to the whole of Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Eh? Isn't Yamaguchi a rural area?! Is there anything interesting there?! Is it even a tourist spot?!
That's what I thought before I went there, but I was surprised to find it very interesting and the food delicious.
This time, I flew from Haneda Airport to Iwakuni Kintaikyo Airport and drove around in a rental car. From Iwakuni's Kintaikyo Bridge, I saw the white walls of Yanai, and then traveled to Yuda Onsen in Yamaguchi City.
I was also able to see a white snake (white snake? white snake?), which is said to bring good luck and fortune.

I booked a hotel through agoda, and it was the cheapest I've seen in Japan.
