@@giorgig4828 I found teltel to be bullshit due to the fact that you have to do the substories for it for 100%. Some of the voices sound similar and you would trigger the same mission.

If anyone having hard time, try going left lane first , right lane and then left lane. You will score 5 million. It helped me. Also try not to get hit by car and be careful around sharp turns.

The first Y-intersection seems to be a real no-win proposition. Either you go right and have to deal with a "tunnel" of countless rocks layered on both sides of the road, or you go left and you have to deal with the same problem but consisting of countless weird Roman pillars layering both sides. So far I think I prefer going right, right, right, but left, right, left is worth a try. I don't think the path you take is going to make a huge difference

@@shadow_r3aper516 OP suggested left, right, left, but if you substitute the first turn with a right, then-because of the way the roads are shaped like a pyramid-you can still have the same track for the final two thirds of the run by going right, left, left and only that second segment of road after the first turn would differ.

I have gone right for the first turn 2 times both of them I reached 5 million plus. And everytime I take left I end up with less than 5 million

@@oni9951 that helps a little. Still have the 20 minute camera panning that can't be skipped, the fucking game rules that blast the screen for ten minutes. The close application and reload the entire game for 2 hours. The stupid fucking fight scene at the entrance. And best of all... Oh best of all, is playing one of the shittiest styles of arcade gaming (before "Cruisin' " games arrived)... car racing.

This is a killer. I did the Electronics King challenge (I was only going to try once and if I lost I'd make up the difference the long way) and did real well but dropped the ball at last moment and ended up with 4.8 mil. The kid's not a smug asshole like the grown-ups are. Surprisingly so... so no grudges from me. I had made friends with Luka while practising for the EK challenge and decided to continue her story. Got to her final challenge of beating 3mil. End up getting 5.5mil EASILY!! (To rub salt in the wound for some bizarre reason they make these challenges "off the record" so I can't even benefit from a Completion Point!! Grrr!!) Sigh... thanks for the help though, GreenRedBlue20.

This is without a doubt one of the most stressful parts of the real estate I've ever had to do words cannot express how livid this game makes me i don't care if its a true arcade game second one way better. Only tip i can give is that cars become non existent when you pass them so dont be afraid to drift next to them if you happen to make a turn Edit: I did it but it still doesnt change my opinion on this

one thing i noticed is that it's better to start off in low gear as it takes less time to charge and then once you hit its peak, switch into high gear

Man that game was hard as hell, but I managed to pull off that task and beat the Electronics king there on my 4th attempt! Let me tell you, that was the attempt where I started to utilize the brakes, and holy crap, they helped a TON! Same with taking the right paths on the crossroads.

Have you tried shifting into high gear at around 150 km/h? Maybe perhaps dodging traffic as well? Possibly even slowing down at sharper turns? This is common driving knowledge. How do people not know this?

4 million and 700K... I hate minigames Edit: Finally made it through with a whopping 6.400.710 points if I'm not wrong, the trick is to use your brakes but just light tapping, and taking the left path, then the right one, then the left one again, took me about 8 tries, but I finally made it, good luck, I believe in you, racing strangers

sometimes it’s ok to give up...

what I learned is that you shouldn't be too afraid of downshifting, especially around sharp corners or when a narrow road is blocked by traffic, it's worth losing a little time if you can avoid crashing. (for example, 2:56 would have been a good time to downshift)

Thank you for showing me how you did it, I've been stuck on this arcade game for hours and watched videos but they didn't exactly help. Now all i have left i space harrier and fantasy zone

Outrun is a good game and a fine classic, of course But goddamn is it hard. Then again, it is an arcade game

It doesn't matter now that you got it, but it's better to shift into low gear around sharp curves as opposed to hitting the brakes.

OH MY GOSH! This was the arcade game I saw at a bowling place back when I was a toddler! Oh man, have I cleared up a memory today!

I know Sega had to change the car so it didn't look like a Ferrari Testarossa for licensing reasons but that's not a bad "generic" approximation. I like how the head of the bird flips around when going right and left, just like the Ferrari horse did in the unaltered version.

The version in Yakuza has slight input delays, plus it seems he is playing on an analog stick.

I’m so mad rn this game just makes my soul hot as hell and just as angry

Shit mini-games are probably my biggest issue with an otherwise a great video game like Yakuza 0.

I can easily get past the first two zones but the third is rough, luckily I’m very close to hitting 5mil (wish me luck)

Initially this seemed very hard but I got the hang of it surprisingly quickly and had some fun. I'd even surpassed the 5 mil high score prior to playing for the real estate game. Well somehow for that quest it took me nearly ten tries. Most annoyingly it's not just the time margins that are very small but the game has no way to ensure you don't get blocked unfairly. Yes I crashes a few times but many other times, which would kill my run, I'd come across a set if cars or trucks just taking up all lanes. By the time they broke up and allowed me through I had already lost. Playing on hard btw so 5 mil was approximately near the end of the third course

I finally did it it took me so long literally stood up almost all night to get this i didn't even realize i got it and i thought i lost

Very tedious and rage inducing. Glad they made it mandatory that you have to do this to unlock kiryus moveset!

I played this shit 10 times and I still can't get 5 Million points, same with the Disco mini game, this game's minigames are such a pain in the ass.

I did it. I don't know how long it took me but I finally did it.

Try RLRR Goal D route which is the shortest course in the game. Just drive safe and you should be able to reach 5m or even finishing the race easily.

I'm so used to playing games like GTA and Need for Speed that Outrun just feels so difficult. It's fun but it's way too difficult.

The absolute worst part about this is how the car controls. It’s constantly twitching around because of how ridiculously responsive it is. Even selecting the song at the start is weird.

I don't know Yakuza 0, I bumped into this by chance, but are the controls worse than playing Outrun on Mame? If not I'm not sure why people say it's so hard... maybe the first few games, but it's relatively easy to reach 5M after a few attempts.

Why are there so many cars in my way when I’m in the worst position it’s so annoying cuz I have to forced myself to go slow so I won’t hit them

After playing OutRun for three and half hours I finally got 5 mil and got those 10%. Was it nice feeling to win? -Yes, who wouldn't like to win. Was it worth those hours of my life? -Definitley NO, in those hours I could have bought all the properties of Electronics king. It was waste but after two hours you can't stop because than you woul have really wasted your time. So if you are not good at Out Run naturally and don't want to spend many hours learning the game, just let King win 10 % is not much. I heard that when Media King challenges you, he wants dance battle in Maharaja club. Once I get there and the minigame starts I will immediatel leave the minigame and I will let the King have those 10% because that dancing game is just awful and I am not wasting my time over it.

I have a problem, it is that I play it on PS3 and when I try to play it takes me out of the game

I was struggling with OutRun in the Japanese version. I used R2 to accelerate and L2 to brake when turning, but just press L2. Fantasy Zone is the worst, even though it's 1 million points, it isn't easy. These minigames are in 6 with normal difficulty lol, thankfully you don't need to 100% 6 for platinum.

Only Yakuza 5, Ishin, 0 and Kiwami require 100% for platinum. Yakuza 3 required minigame completion.

Somehow I found out that getting the CP for Super Hang-On is easier than this. Took me around 4-5 tries for the Super Hang-On, have tried the OutRun one for more than that.

John niner8 I might do. The substories in this game are hilarious. There are some substories which are very short. I'm planning on showing substories which have multiple answers, the response s are pretty funny. After defeating Amon, you get the trophy.

On my first try with luka i struggled trying to beat her 2 million score with about 3 tries but with the electronics king i think somebody at sega decided to make it more tedious by making his score 5 million points, i tried about 7 times and at the end i was like screw this I'll just give him all of the properties and farm money from mr shakedown to rebuy them again.

Zum aller ersten mal, nach unzähligen Versuchen, habe ich kapiert wie man OutRun spielt, man muss also einen Gang hochschalten um schneller zu werden. Waren auch nur etwa 50000 Versuche bis ich das kapiert hatte. ^^

Sharp turns is easy but with trucks blocking the way you have no choice but to lose speed i wish they added more time but i did it for first time 6.3 million points just have to concentrate to the lane brake or change gear into low when no option this challenge is serious shit

The best way to prevent hitting another car is to slow down if there is too much traffic, use the brakes. Also depending on the collision, if you are going at full speed and you crash,it takes some time especially with the animation.

I was always going to the first right since a bunch of threads said it's easiest which doesn't even make seNSE since the road is thinner !!!

There is only one sharp turn at the beginning and you can travel the rest of stage 2 without slowing down a lot. Also left courses are generally longer and you will have far more trouble to catch the timer.
