ALWAYS dielectric grease those wire ends BEFORE crimping! Heat shrink is nothing more then insulation and is great at hiding corrosion, it has nothing to do with waterproofing, as many "believe"!

T.J, I have watched a few videos now and greatly appreciate your explanation in the DIY's. They will sure come in handy when I rig my new kayak. Do you have a DYI where you show how you stop items in the front hatch from making there way to the back. I see Greg Blanchard has an old fishing net it looks like to hold his stuff from going anywhere. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated

I am looking to have connections for a fish finder, spotlight/nav lights, internal and external strip lights. If I were to buy this kit on yak power would it be able to accommodate all of these? I was also wondering if you had to purchase the strip lights and spot lights separately or if they came in a bundle? Thank you so much!

I know it’s a old vid but I just got the yak power button lights and panel switch system. The lights won’t come on plugged into the panel switch system. I hit the corresponding button to power them on and nothing but they will come on when directly wired to the battery if the negative is on positive and positive to negative on the battery. It’s weird, like they’re wired backwards or something? I’m wondering if I got some bad lights since everything else I plug into the ports on the panel switch system works. I’m using all yak power products and I got it cause it was supposed to easily be set up but 🤦‍♂️😂

The yak power thing I bought that has the 15 amp fuse built in has female connectors that are too small to fit on my battery. Has anyone's else had this problem. I think it has size f1 female connectors while the battery terminal male connectors are size f2. Thanks in advance!

I'm planning to buy a Hobie kayak pro angler 14 soon and I'm wondering how do you like it and how stable do you think it is. I just saw a video here on KZread from another KZreadr bad mouthing Hobie. I really don't like him too much. But it got me thinking and I'd like to have your honest opinion on it. As far as stability and value. I don't mind spending the money. I am a disabled vet like I told you back then and I'd like to get the safest kayak for my needs, I value your opinion. Stay safe out there brother and keep those videos coming. God bless
