I have autism and no, they don't see beyond the disability, so no way in hell am I going to day programs at any time.
my friend's daughter goes to one of these but she is very low and should rather be placed in a group home
I'd be careful in the group homes tbh. A lot of abuse and mistreatment happens in them.
Yeah, I have autism and have never lived in a group home but am very aware and reluctant nonetheless due to all the stories I hear.
