Hey you beautiful people 😁 So glad you found Bloodywood (as I have recently). These guys are impossible not to love, the compassion, humanity and humbleness is huge. You can hear the Linkin Park influence, not just for Raoul and Jayant's vocal foil, though Jayant also has an incredible growl. Songs 'Dana Dan, Endurant, Aaj' and 'Machi Bhasad' shows how versatile they are, along with three other musicians and Occassional female guest vocalist (Snake Charmer), creating some of the most infectious music of this year. Hopefully will get to see them just up the road in Manchester (UK) in March. What a time to be alive 😃😃😃💝

Exactly, it's like they arrived at a place where they discovered that they had a voice *and* a message, and realized where they were at that point. Reminds me of the Beastie Boys in that sense.

This song always hurts, when I listen to it. I used to have a husky/wolf mix, and she got me and my family through a lot of tough times. Unfortunately she was murdered by someone who intentionally fed her antifreeze. What makes it worse is that I know who did it, but there was no proof, so the cops just let it go.

@Play It Again with Mike and Ginger: Bloodywood is such an amazing group of human beings. Not only have they saved my life with Jee Veerey, and convinced me to not take my own life, and instead to keep fighting, but this song, Yaad, along with a couple of others (Hallowed Be Thy Name, Iron Maiden; Meadows of Heaven, Nightwish) helped me deal with grief a couple of years ago, when I lost my aunt and my grandmother in the same month. Literally, I had just gone to my aunt's funeral, had come home, only to find out my grandmother had passed earlier that day. While it was expected, my grief hurt, because to me, it was a source of knowledge in my life that was gone, in both cases. I literally took a day, and just played these songs over and over again, processing and letting go of my grief and sadness at losing loved ones who had treated me with love, respect, and support. Which is why if I ever meet Bloodywood, I would give them each a huge thanks for helping me in my life, and convincing me to keep fighting to live, even when I didn't want to.

Raoul Kerr) next or Bloodywood - Aaj (Indian Folk Metal) next. Jee Veerey really shows you how good these guys are 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 A little less wet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Will put the reaction on their Facebook page 🤘🏻🤘🏻 Dana Dan has a powerful message but I think the harsh vocals will get to Mike. In a lot of really good ways, this video reminds me of the video Khruangbin made for "So We Won't Forget" [kzread.info/dash/bejne/nqNora-AmdyTXbw.html]... I mean, their vibe is much more based in world fusion music, but the effect is the same. After so much loss over the past few years, a simple story of loss becomes so complex and leaves you emotionally gutted. And there is so much authenticity here too. Bloodywood rule.

Songs like Devin Townsend's "Feather" too. When you can go as heavy as these folks can go, talking about peace, love, loss, as well as rage and anger touches on some incredible emotional chords. The world needs more socially conscious metal bands like Gojira, Bloodywood and Devin Townsend. I really hope Bloodywood break into the mainstream consciousness.
