great reaction. Yep, it's Melanie Safka. It's a sample that he's using not an actual guest vocal, that's why she isn't listed on the song. beautiful sad song. I was looking for your reaction to his song Dear God and didn't find. could it be, you haven't done that one? Also, there's one called New York City from his love music project that is outstanding.

Yes!! I’m 60 and actually recognized the sample!! Melanie is iconic!!! My favourite of her songs is one I loved to sing to my children at bedtime. Christopher Robin (is Saying His Prayers)!!! Such a sweet song!

Not sure about that. The ones I know her for are Beautiful People, Ruby Tuesday, Look What They've Done to My Song Ma, and Brand New key. She has a beautiful tone, and tremolo to her voice @@ricksurratt9034

Great one Zack. Not many reactors have done this. As others have mentioned, the sample is from Melanie Safka - Do you Believe. My favourite version of Melanie's is from 'The Tonight Show' in 1972 here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eX-C18GFfqadlbQ.html Ren appears to absolutely know which samples will work with his music!!

I really like this one, I thought i didnt know who Melanie Safka was until i realised she did brand new key. I was so sick of hearing that on the radio when i was a kid, I like it now though, i like her Do you believe too and People on the front row. Fantastic songs all.

“Always look on the bright side of life” 🎼 was a song 🎵 they sang in the movie. Spoiler Alert 🚨: A very happy tune to be singing when they’re eventually captured and all are hanging from crucifixes.

There is a lockdown stream number 4 from May 2020 from the Big Push. It's a mash up of different songs and it's excellent even though it's the three of them (no drummer) in their flat just jamming.

I think this song is beautiful. The sample is by Melanie from her song Do you Believe from the 70s ( Wu tang Clan also used it). This is the Ren song I play the most.

He has 64 in his Ren playlist. I have 90. I am not sure- you can easily find out by going to people that react to him a lot and clicking playlists?
