The future became the present. To quote Midnight in Paris: "[the present] is a little unsatisfying because life's a little unsatisfying." Sorry ☮️
Damn i remember binders and book covers having that y2k rainbow spiral swirls.
Before Dubstep there was,...Paul Oakenfold

lol yes - big beat, dnb, breakbeat, trip hop, trance etc were filtered into 'corporate background music' of the era -- kinda like how ukelele handclaps millennial whoop 'hipster' bs was a staple of the early 2010s

Web Riot "once your in, you might never get out"... These words hits me hard.
"On a scale you've never experienced before, 36 inches"💀💀 that's gold

No wonder it flopped, what a waste of money. Were they saying PlayStation was trying to steal from them? The chick had the PlayStation symbols on her arm😂
I was really hoping 2019 into the 2020s would be a revival of this aesthetic 🥺

@@NostalgiCrazy i think it would happen, because year ago was first quantum computer for commercials purpose. Just few years in future (2025 maybe) when this will gain popularity and there will be another technological explosion, next Y2K aesthetic will start. Lets hope it will happen :3

I think it’s definitely coming back. There’s definitely a resurgence of y2k futurist art in current music like breakcore and stuff. also the airpod max design just gives me the feeling that this aesthetic is gonna rise. the roundness, blue, silver, sleek, blobular style is being popularized again in tech design, and makes up/fashion wise more of these blues and frosts are coming back I feel
i like how they kept saying stuff about the digital world to show that times were changing 😄
1:13 2000s ad guys totally know how scratching sounds

It’s like we tried really hard to go back to the 80’s aesthetic but ended up making it look cheap and tacky.

I know, but that’s what I’m getting from these.
Actually the Y2K era began in 1998 and ended in 2002 because 1997 was the end of the 90's and 2003 was already the 2000's.
