Oh wow. How have i never noticed this. When the automated Andromeda fleet charge the Gatlantis fleet and are being taken out, they are actually crashing into Gatlantis ships. I thought it was beam fire.

I love seeing the forces of Gamilas showing that while they might be Humanities Allies, they are still a force to be reckoned with and even get to reuse everything that failed to Sink Yamato but now they don't have to worry about plot armour getting in the way. Also love seeing the older vessels getting to shine despite their age

I'm working on my own version for SBY, along with taking input from the fans. Like, I came up with another mass produced ship for the Galtantis instead of using the one they used. That one I saw more as a heavy weight that can't be overly mass produced.

Gatlantis Garmilas and Polar are multiplanetary empires with enough people to crew entire fleets of ships more . To be fair the scale is even larger . We only see the most important battles of the wars . Earth is the only weird one ( the post treaty ) as it is imposible for us to crew so many shps . Than again AI is important . Gatlantis also clone soldiers on mass .

Gundams can go to hell , this thing removes planets . Ok , the Suncrasher is the most op , a fighter that can delate entire star systems with one torp and is basicly impossible to destroy by Star Wars standards is just op . Yamato have close second.

同感です 金剛級があれだけの活躍をするのであれば、せめてエンジンノズルの直径を広げ（推進力が上がったことを視覚的に分かるようにする）、主砲をドレッドノート級に準じた砲身付きのものに換装するくらいは表現してくれないとですよね。 それでも、いくら近代化改修されたとしても星巡る方舟で強敵として登場したガトランティスのメダルーサすら簡単に屠るなんてありえないですよ

@@kt.vlutsiy7136 そう言われると思って「あれだけの活躍」「メダルーサすら簡単に屠る」と書きました。 性能向上はしているでしょうが、ガトランティス艦隊の中を縦横無尽に飛び回ってメダルーサをなぎ倒すほどの力を持てるか、という趣旨で書いています。 あんな小さいノズルのままでは、機関出力が上がったとしても機動力の向上はたかが知れてるし、無砲身砲塔で無双できるならヤマトやドレッドノート級のような主砲にしなくとも同レベル以上のショックカノンが実装できる、ということになると思うのですがねえ じっさい、ここの少ないコメントの中ではこの方の「違和感感じる」への共感数がダントツなのですがねえ

恐るべし！地球防衛軍の戦力。これがもし１９７８年版のさらば…だったら、地球はガトランティスより恐ろしいかも…😆😆

I am a fan of the Comet Empire. I don't like them being incompetent fighters. They are a warrior race, and when you see thousands of their ships not returning fire in battle is not a true representation of how any competent fighting force would act. They could be shown firing back and missing most of their targets, but at least make the battle look more realistic. For The Empire!

Fascinating how so few ships seems capable of aiming their guns or being capable of proper formations and fire while they are on screen. . . I enjoyed the show but holy crap they did not animate many actaully good belivable fights coreography was pretty awfull. :/

love the look...but are these ships made out of tinfoil? One or two hits and they are destroyed. A bit too much.

@@uncfbby0137 Yes but it is due to Chinese military expansion and aggression that Japan is doing its own buildup. But in order to get the approval, the people need to be convinced hence anime like Uchuu Senkan Yamato remake.

⁠@@RH-mk3rpthis was in 2012, and 2202 was in 2017, this literally has nothing to due with increase build up in the Chinese navy, that’s a politics thing, not a personal and corporate affair agreement of a remaster due to its legacy…If they wanted approval they would have initiated a public relations campaign, not a show that wouldn’t even get their point across in improving national security.

It may be speculative, certainly not out of the realm of possibility, that in the recent decade we've seen anime like 2199, Gate, etc depicting Japan in a militarily more aggressive posture. We've also seen protest from the Japanese people against remilitarization. Is it propaganda to get people more accustomed, I can't say, however it's possibly just one avenue of a wider public relations campaign you mentioned. History of territorial disputes as well as increasing Chinese nationalism didn't start in 2012.
