Great video Yänjaa, thank you so much for the tips, they are very wise and sensible and I shall be putting them into practice! I had been learning so much Icelandic vocab that I think I lost the plot a bit, I got overwhelmed and found myself less able to remember what I had known well once, because I'd dumped so much new stuff on top, it muddied the waters! So stripping it back to the most common words and base phrases is where I'm heading now - Takk fyrir hjálpað! 😍🇮🇸

It would be very helpful if you applied these rules to your very own language courses! I wrote about this some times ago to the support, but didn't receive any answer. I am learning japanese, I've learned about 600 words so far - detailed words about transportation, food etc, but almost exclusively nouns! Some few verbs and besides warm, cold, good and bad no adjectives at all. No kidding! I can't say"that's funny/great/boring/difficult.... If you don't know a noun, you can describe it, but you can't form sentences without meaningful verbs and your can't describe anything without adjectives!
