Good skills. I’m getting up there in rank but I refuse to learn unstoppable combos (grappling, chain uppercuts etc) because it’s bad game design imo. I know there’s plenty of fighting game game who would disagree with me. But I’d rather continually out play with timing and movement (skill and competency) than get one attack off and now I have you stuck in a combo and there goes your whole armor and health bar. Yes I realize it takes skill and no shame to those who do it. But take rogue for example in wow. At times they were op and could stun lock to death. They usually got balanced out of that quickly so then it became about strategy, movement, outplaying, a higher skill ceiling. My personal opinion.

I agree with you on the skill part of what we call winning “neutral”. I am a combo player but am well versed on neutral as well. My montages usually consist of cool combos bc lots of people including myself find it entertaining to watch. Most fights at a high lvl involve more of neutral and players know when and when not to use their skills etc. to avoid getting put in these crazy combos. Ive always said this and I will hold true to it, characters like tarka and takeda whos ult in solos is just meant to put someone in an infinite shouldnt be in the game. I disagree w infinite combos but I respect people who can learn and perform these high dmg combos bc there is a lot of room for error. Thanks for watching and sharing your opinion 🤍
