They even play it at many weddings I've been to in the past few years. Whenever the song comes on, everyone is on the dance floor singing along and doing all the hand motions for Y.M.C.A.

This Song never gets old, perfect for Dance Clubs, High School dance, and the dance is very easy, great song for Saturday nights no matter where you are

I saw these guys on the gold coast in Australia, early 1980s, so glad I did it was full.of energy, very uplifting, and a bloody great show, the complete audience was up and raging the whole concert. Im 65 now, it's great looking back enjoying what life gave us, good on the village people

This song will get the blood flowing. I miss those simple days.

Loved this song. I danced to it as a youth. We all sang it at my wedding. We sang is again at my kid's weddings. We sang it at my grandkid's graduation parties. I think I am going to request it to be sung at my funeral. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I loved all their songs, even when Ray Simpson took over after Victor Willis. Simpson was the brother of Valerie Simpson, of the duo Ashford and Simpson. And David Hodo was the best dancer in the group. I can watch him dance all day. Those hip pops were awesome.

These original guys were the best.

Oh wow, the memories! In my younger days, we had dances in a large auditorium and this song always got the largest line dance ever. Two lines stretched the length of the area and couples and sometimes singles would take turns dancing down the full length. My gosh, we had fun! That was about 50 years ago. ☹️

My neighbour loved this song so much, she threw a brick through my window so she could hear it better…

Wonderful, marvelous, excellent. Took me back in time. My daughter and I would blast the Village People cassette as we were driving to the NATO base in Naples, Italy. Of course we had to shut it down as we approached the gate. Thank you. Today, my daughter is 44 and I am 66 and yet it feels like yesterday we were there. Blessings to you.
