I agree 100%. When I first got this I thought it smelled nice and then I started realizing how synthetic it smelled and it turned me right off. I got rid of it.

I think the Y Le Parfum is better than the EDP, which I just don’t care for. I think the original Y may be the best, in my opinion. Good call to stick with the original L’Homme line. Definitely more enjoyable. Thanks Mark.

I originally wasn't a fan of the Y line. I gave the new rerelease of the EDT in 2022 a chance, I actually enjoyed it. Very fresh. So, I bought the EDP, and I agree a bit synthetic. My wife bought me the EDP Intense, and I really don't like it. Nor does she. lol.. The Sage is too in your face. But, regardless, to each their own. Thanks for your take/impressions on this flanker.

L'Homme and La Nuit de L'Homme are the best from YSL. Bleu Electrique version was a richer version of La Nuit but unfortunately now discontinued. I remember I also used to like Jazz Prestige from back in the day

I wore Y edp summer before last one night for a late night dinner out. We ended up on the restaurants patio and temps never dropped below a very humid 90. I was so nauseous and have never liked Y since. I do have decants of Y intense and Y le parfum. Pulled them all out now. Intense improves that sickly sweetness and le parfum is another slight step in the positive, but I think they all fall somewhere between yuk and meh.

I have a 30ml decant of the EDP. I rarely wear it. Honestly I would get a bottle of Profundo before any of the Y! Releases

My only reason for keeping the Y EDP is cause no one complains about it when I wear it thanks to its mass appeal nature. I really don't like that opening but its good to have atleast one mass appeal for those Karens 😂

I agree the Lhomme and La Nuit are so much better. I just recently scored a 200ml brand new YSL Lhomme 2010 bottle for 100usd and a 100ml 2013 La Nuit De Lhomme for 132usd.

Gave my edp to my nephew. Sampled this one and just thought the same thing: why? It's nothing more than an amalgamation of every freshie over the last two-plus decades.

You should watch your Lalique A L'extreme video from 7 years ago, Marc. That first sniff and reaction doesn't happen very often anymore.

Well, I am a reviewer, which is different than an influencer.

i hate the entire line but especially the EDP. syrupy sweet, cloying synthetic blob encompassing the worst designer fragrances have to offer.

Just announced the YSL “Elixir” (just a guess, only saw the bottle from ifragrance…no name).

I knw there was a lady that worked for dior at macy and she said that savage elixer was actually more concentrated on oil thats why the bottles was smaller and more expensive. As far as all the other elixers i think they just trying to find a way to raise the prices up or capitalize of what dior did 😂 My dad actually loves the edt y and it actually smells pretty good on him but me personally i cant spend that much on a freshy when i done ran thru bottles of issey miyake and versace pour homme which are my favorite fresh scent and has gotten me the most compliments ever also very cheap in price.

These guys that are so full of themselves. - this is an absolutely amazing parfum - totally one of my absolute favs. I am a Channel Blu guy - my daughter picked it for me. I put this scent in the same level. So PLEEEEEEEEEEEEAAASE - stop with all the pontification with this mental masturbation - its a great scent

there's no need to attack a reviewer, I put time in to test, shoot a video, edit and give honest thoughts on a platform. If you want a cosigner on a fragrance there's many other influencers for you. Because I have an opinion and a negative one does not mean I'm full of myself, it means I'm not a robot pushing out positive reviews over and over again. If you love it, great!

Would you believe that a large bottle of Y Le Parfum is $188 USD at full retail? ☠️

The Y line embarrasses me. I own the edt and edp and would never buy again anything from the line.

I blind bought y edp in 2019. While I'm happy to have it, it's still utter trash. Way too sweet for my taste. This one actually sounds better, but no desire to explore this line any further.

Y line is a waste, keep your expectations low 🤦🏼. Unlike you, I am not anti-blue fragrance collector (have Bleu de Chanel and Dior Sauvage) but this is just terrible 😢

Yves saint laurent is now a brand that I removed from my collection. I can't call these cheap things perfume. Unfortunately, even La Nuit is now in a mediocre state. The world of fragrance is heading towards a dead end. I'm glad I kept the classics.

Yep. YSL, next to Paco Rabanne, is a brand which I refuse to go into. Their frags plainly suck. They're generic at best, faceless,dull, devoid of any life... All that for a unreasonable price. Bargain bin only imo.
