This gets me everytime 😭 Moonbyul had been scammed and knocked back soo many times from different companies, Solar went against her parents who strongly opposed this career and suddenly had to become a leader when she still needed guidance herself, Wheein's family torn apart by her father and was then raised by her grandmother who passed away before she could see her debut and Hwasa who endured soo much hate and criticism for not fitting beauty standard and people even made a petition for her to be kicked out because she wasnt 'pretty' enough 😭 Mamamoo have come so far and I'm so happy for them ♥

Oh yes, you finally watched it. This absolutely kills me every time I see it. You can hear their voice cracking as they sing at the end. Wheein was about the only one who really managed to keep it together, and you can see her preparing to potentially take over for someone if they couldn't sing their own lines in a few spots too.

Im both sad and thrilled for her because she finally ‘proved’ her ability to go to the top chasing after her dreamn:’) her parents must be so proud and im sure she’s also proud of herself and the girlies❤️ my ult bias (bcs im an ot4 bias haha), wheenie, i felt bittersweet because i assume she’s bottling her feelings so much here, i think smiling is her coping mechanism, she rarely ever cries even though she had a really rough history with her family 😭 i kinda want her to express herself more rather than bottling everything up, but let’s hope (and i know they do) she confided in her teammates and therefore would know that she doesnt have to hold back and that she’s not alone. Solar, moonbyul, wheein, hwasa are such hardworking goddesses! I wish them happiness forever and more Im sorry my english is not good haha

This is the first love song to fans that Solar wrote and it's her response to fans surprising the girls by holding up signs saying Never Letting Go while they were in the middle of singing the song Love Lane, which made them dissolve in tears. Moonbyul & Hwasa added their rap verses to complete the song but Yong leader's heart & soul are all over it. This song is one of the reasons she's my bias. I thought you used to pronounce Wheein & Hwasa just fine. In Korean both their names start with H but the H is subtle and it's basically just pronounced as a bit of breathiness going into the W. So Hwasa is similar to Whassup! without the P at the end. Whoever told you to drop the W is messing with you. Btw, the other person messing with you is called Tem, who even spams female reactors with the same "great content keep it up bro" comment. I don't know what they get out of it but imo you should just ignore them.

Yes! The lyrics are beautiful! And the person that I heard the names from is fluent in Korean, and I'm just not the best at imitating their accent! 😂 So I'll just be sticking to the ways I as saying them originally! And I know somewhat know about Ten being a spammer! There are a few channels that I keep getting the same generic comments from, and I respond in the beginning, just in case it is actually an individual watching, but I'll block them as soon as I find out! (Like 3 Trap Town channels, The Comical Canadian, and now TEM)

This video is incredible for the emotion, it is hard to watch and not tear up especially seeing solar, since you can see her crying through the second half of the song. If you listen, while they have unbelievable control of their voices considering the emotion, you can hear Solar many times and hwasa crying when they take breaths, Solar almost loses it at the end. They wrote this song for moomoos who encouraged them at a small venue live performance before they were famous, they were about to disband but the 200 or so moomoos there all had signs written on posters telling the group to not give up moomoos will always love them. That video exists also, I think a fancam, I have not seen it in years. There you can see a few versus into the song love lane, moonbyul is the first to read the signs, points it out and leads to them crying on stage as well, hard to find now, the venue almost looks like a parking garage and the moomoos are just around them.

I always mentally autocorrect the English title to “I love you too” which is what I assume they meant and someone just forgot to insert the you lol the korean title is “never letting go” which originated from the first placard event the girls received from fans at an event where fans held up slogans saying never letting go which resulted in all the girls crying on stage since then the phrase has become as synonymous with moos and mmm as radishes. This perf was the first time they performed the song as a group and was at their first solo concert

When Solar first released the song for family, friends, & Moomoo's on her birthday, Moonbyul later scolded her saying, "I was teary and touched... then you ended it(the recording) weirdly!" The company liked the song and had Moonbyul and Hwasa add their raps to it, and thus, Tears- I mean, *I Love You Too*! Was born. lol Mad love to them all, but especially to our Wheepup! Though she held back, we know she's jus as smol and soft & #mustbeprotected!

don't really have anything to say that wasn't already covered, but how can these women still sound so good singing while they're crying or laughing? like you can hear the tears in their voices, the little cracks and sobs from everyone but wheein, who was being the backbone and waiting to cover any of the others if she needed to (has done this with hwasa before in some songs hwasa is supposed to start out but sometimes has difficulty with because of the emotions they evoke). you saw wheein was as shocked as the others when her mother was on camera, yet somehow she managed to pull herself together. which actually hurts me to see, since it means she's had practice doing exactly that... also, several of their songs at this concert had the concert footage released as the official music videos, including this one. who does that? live performances as music videos... sheer craziness, that. it was either this one or their next concert, curtain call, that had their subunit songs "angel" (solar/wheein) and "dab dab" (moonbyul/hwasa) that got used as the official videos. and, just to embrace their silliness, the first two concerts were called 'moosical' and 'moosical: curtain call' and it's sad that in all this time, we've only ever gotten those two subunit songs. though "loving one person" with wheein/hwasa sometimes gets counted, that's still just 3 songs

@@V3actions Most are to varying extents. But some do allow freedom depending on the Artists. JYP & JYPE have evolved & I believe are a lot better then how they use to be. YGE are still restrictive for most of their talents with the exception of AKMU as they have been given a lot of freedom as Lee Chan Hyuk (the brother of the sibling duo) has the freedom of writing all of the pairs songs, though he does use a YGE Employee that does Arrangement to put Chan's songs to musical scores (which Chan does have input on); Lee Su Hyun (the sister of the sibling duo) had been given the freedom to open her own KZread Channel which she uploads videos of various kinds, sometimes they're "vlog like" others are Q&A & whatnot. She was also allowed to become a Radio DJ, all the while this [creating the YT Channel & Radio DJ'ing] happened around the time that Chan had enlisted due to SK's Mandatory Service. Now, it might've been coincidental but the timings make it seem otherwise.

Full stop tho, the origin of this song has already been told to you. But what you need to know is that at that time (just a bit after debut), Mamamoo wasnt big, and coming from a small company, it was very likely they would never get big. The small number of people there (the og moomoos) held up these "Never Letting Go" signs and it's literally been a staple for moos and mamamoo

So when Moomoos prepared this sign event (the signs said "Never Letting Go") it touched them very deeply as you can see in that clip. This song (along with Star Wind Flower Sun) is just their love and appreciation letter to Moomoos (and each other, and the people who have always been there for them). I don't think you've watched Star Wind Flower Sun yet, you should when you get a chance.
