**UPDATE** Hi guys! For those that are confused as to why I disliked the product, let me briefly explain :). I've been trying products for YEARS. It's literally my job, guys. On top of that, I know what works and what doesn't for me. I know how I like my hair to look and feel. My hair may "look" nice on your devices, but the overall FEELING of my hair was terrible. My hair only lasted ONE day. Trust me, I wanted it to work! Compared to the hype and to the other products that give me consistent results, this just wasn't it. Glad y’all are finally getting hip to the curl activator! If you want the best definition DO NOT use hair dryers and DO NOT TOUCH IT UNTIL ITS DRY. If you use the hair dryer it gets slightly frizzy and the same thing happens if your touching it and “styling” it afterwards. There’s also a styling Gel by D luster, give that a try too. Use a silk pillow cover if your wrapping your hair up for the night. When you wake up , you literally can shake, and go! ❤️

I don’t mind some frizz. I prefer length more so than definition. I mean I certainly would like to have definition but that’s not possible without the shrinkage still taking a lot of effect. So if I had to pick one over the other it’d be length.

Me too! I’m like what’s not to like?? Her hair came out soo good! I just tried it myself today and my texture is 4c obviously her texture / curl pattern is much looser than mine... so I did a leave in conditioner first too and sat with a bag on my head under my dryer for like 10 / 15 mts to make sure my leave in was in and also I used ECO Styling gel... so after I got from under my dryer ...section my 4c hair In 4sections...I spray small sections with a little water used the Luster D Curl Activator from my root than used the eco styling gel and boom! It was popping! My curl pattern showed up and showed out! My hair looks so darn good girl!!!! I let it AIR dry which took too damn long won’t do that again but otherwise I love it! No oil is required afterwards ...the activator makes your hair shine and the shine is popping ...also my hair is dyed a blue back so my shine/ glow is ridiculous! No crunch or product residue .. I can’t find nothing bad say at all 💕

Her hair looks beautiful! I understand that everyone have their own expectations. However, watching her complain about it was like watching a skinny person complain about being fat. I get it though. She just has certain expectations of her hair. I plan to try those products today cause her hair looked to good.

She’s had better wash and gos with other products. This wasn’t the best her hair has looked. But she had bomb hair so it was trying to push through with that product. But as a day one subscriber, I can tell that her hair doesn’t like this product very much. 🤷🏽‍♀️

When you've been trying products for years, you know what works and what does not. I wish you could've felt my hair. Plus, I only got one day out of it which is unheard of for me. Lighting + camera contribute quite a bit. While it didn't "look" terrible, it wasn't a product I liked for my natural hair. It's like having your favorite restaurant for years then to try a subpar restaurant that wasn't nearly as good. You got full but it ain't hit like what you're used to. Hope that made sense.

I just tried it myself. I liked it a lot since my curls got more defined but my hair still looks a bit frizzy. But as someone who's hair normally looks super frizzy and has no definition, it's a good product for when I dont feel like doing twist outs.
