"If I'm ashy mind your business" 🤣🤣🤣 I just love her whole vibe!!! Beautiful results I love seeing my 4Cs rocking wash n gos defined loose curls aren't the end all be all.. And I'm 4a myself but I mainly watch 4C youtubers I get my best styling and moisturizing tips from them even though our curls might react alittle different to certain products and styles we still are all type 4s and deal with the knots and dryness. I'm tired of this good hair bad hair mess like we all have our own unique beautiful curls I shame myself for slapping texturizers in my hair all them years being ashamed of my tight coils now I wouldnt change my kinky hair for nothing the kinkier the better is my moto.. ✊🏽 I wanna try a twist and braid out sometime I usually do wash n gos they keep my hair stretched out and minimizes my single strand knots now that my hair is getting longer when i was TWA my god them single strand knots were horrible the longer your hair gets the easier it gets to style it because you start to master it but when you first big chop its like wtf!!

I know you don’t want to hear it 😂 but since your hair is so thick, this is why you should work with smaller sections. You’ll get even more definition. Your results are beautiful.

I like this gel too. I mostly do wash and gos and tried it after seeing it recommended on a blog. If you like Wetline, you will *love* the Argan Oil Curl Wave Twist gel at the Dollar Tree. No alcohol, no flakes and moisture is retained great definition. I bought it when in a crunch for a styler. Love. It. So. Much.

Hit the hair with a diffuser then leave the roots still damp, switch to a concentration tool and stretch the roots to elongate your hair. Or band the hair and go to bed and wake up and fluff out. It came out so cute! I personally love the effortlessness of a wash and go. I just appreciate someone’s true curl pattern and you look lovely.

I'm one of those rare 4c girls that loves wash n goes. At the moment I'm using the kids Luster's leave in and the clear eco styler gel. Wetline is clutch too. The only thing I do that is a little different is I don't do it on soaking wet hair. I let my hair dry in a towel for a bit first. I don't stretch overnight anymore, I just stretch it for about 20 min while I get ready for the day.

I'm also a 4C girl who loves wash and go's. I'm on day 5 right now. However, I do band at night for length.

Congratulations, it's cute, different for you, coils poppin. I wash and go all the time as a 4c/4b! Love the look, i don't even use gel, just my favourite defining leave-in. Hair soft, not crunch over here. Yes more convenient for me than putting in twist. My twist outs never come out right. But I get so much amazing definition from wash n go's. Your day 2 looked even better!

Your hair looks great. I have used all kinds of cream stylers, hair milks and leave ins under Wetline. Wetline plays nice with tons of products.

Hooray on a successful WNG! It looks great 😍 I ❤ seeing our natural coils on display too. I'm a 4c WNG wearer and I think it's less effort & guess work than say a braidout or twistout. Although, it's not to say those styles aren't cute & worthwhile too... just a preference. However, many argue that WNGs are more work. Sure the work on a WNG is on the front end in usu. just under 1 hr. 1x wk. in the shower once used to it, but that's no time really for a style that will usu. last an entire week or so w/ a light refresher spray perhaps every 2-3 days during that week to maintain moisture levels and/or revive coils. Also once HYDRATION is truly achieved as well as the use of quality hair products, detangling from an old WNG is usu. a breeze. I often hear other women w/4c hair complaining of knots they weren't able to recover from then blame it on WNGs further perpetuating the myth that 4c hair can't achieve/wear WNGs long-term 🙄. To each their own...wearing a WNG is an option for all & a preference for some. It shouldn't be viewed as a deterrent for certain hair types. I'm not necessarily advocating it as much as simply stating it shouldn't be promoted nor discouraged for certain hair types.

Love this comment! I feel like I get a lot of knots from wash and go’s and it could be because of inadequate detangling.. when I washed my hair it was more tangled than usual but it wasn’t knotted up like it has been from previous wash and go’s. I was overall happy with the experience lol

@@KandidKinks Yes, it's usu. due to inadequate detangling esp. from prior sessions. However, you can rectify that by either adding conditioner to dry hair prior to washing hair in shower to help loosen any big knots/tangles or just allow the water to pull the weight of your hair downward & really allow the water to soak into hair for a good 5 min. prior to cleansing then add a concentrated quality conditioner along with water to hair then gently detangle hair w/ fingers before using other detangling tools if that's your preference. You will experience over time as you incorporate more WNGs improved manageability, minimal shedding & easier WNGs. As with anything else they get better with time & more wear 😉

Okkkkk.....I'm anti wash n go as well. We have similar hair texture. However your wash n go is BOMB💕. I may get the courage to try again. It's been a few years since I last attempted a wash n go. Your hair is beautiful 💕

If you want your wash and goes to come out completely definded you have to make sure you put gel throughout every part of your hair and on your ends and make sure it’s coated with a moisturizing leave in and completely coated with gel. That’s the reason most people struggle with wash and goes. Idc all black people have curl patterns, you just have to find the balance.

Ok you I trust and believe. I’ll buy the gel now.

I'm a 4C girl who love wash and go's. They are effortless and last me a whole work week. Also, I have less tangles with WnG's than I do with twist outs. My favorite gel is Uncle Funky's Daughter Curl Stimulator and Wetline equally for different reasons.

I would love to see you try this again it came out great but as a type 4b natural I think if you 1. Used a leave in a cream/butter and a the gel 2. Apply the leave in while in the shower on wet hair then let it soak in until your hair is moist 3. Use sections to evenly distribute products and add cream/butter then apply gel 4. Use banding method on your wet detangled hair (using a couple more sections) 5. Sit under the dryer until it’s dry You’d get results that may make you a wash and go girl I know you say you’re lazy but id love to see you try this method

I loved this I have 4c hair and do the perpendicular method that jadedtresses does for more definition but i wanna try this for a more textured instead of flat look!

Your wash n go came out BOMB!! One trick I do when I have t ofinesse banding is I put my hair in pigtails and then band those down

I use the Melanin twist elongating cream & NaturAll Club curl custard with my twist out "Awesome Moisture " 4 at least 3-4 days. Thank U 4 educating me on products I've wanted 2 try.
