Firstly,Tiki to prove I watched the whole video. Thank you for taking the time to explain your perspective on mocap vs. animation. I have a strong preference for animated movies, but mocap is valid for practical and stylistic purposes. You are a director with a wealth of practical and soft skills so I am confident that Tiki will be good. Another factor I want to add into the topic of mocap is acting. Good mocap comes from good actors so do your best to find people who can perform well. The majority of animators start with something from real life, usually video reference, before they create their characters' poses. Even wildly exaggerated animation reflects the reference material the animator used. I assume that the mocap in Tiki will be modified for clarity and dramatic effect to bridge the gap between the subtlety and detail in mocap movement and the simpler look of the CG characters. If this is the case, I am eager to see the method you use to modify the mocap data.

Hey, thanks for the video. I was wondering if you tested more complex movements than upright standing and walking which works pretty well for a lot of solutions? I’m looking for a solution that captures various ways of transitioning from lying to standing up, sitting to standing up and vice versa, as well as falling when obstacles are involved. like trying to get hold of a slippery surface. Can it capture multiple actors at the same time?

Sorry you got a thumbs down from me, because that unboxing was unwatchable. Please DO NOT PUT BACKGROUND MUSIC ON A VIDEO WHILE YOU ARE SPEAKING. Damn it's irritating. No matter what music you choose you will annoy some people because our tastes are all different, so you're reducing the size of your potential audience by using _any_ music. In addition for some autistic people like me it makes it extremely difficult to understand anything you say, even if the music is quiet. And on this video the music chosen would have been extremely irritating to me even if it was on its own. In combination with your voice it was hard to understand a word you were saying, which I would hope is not the idea. I don't care if it was a spoof, that music was pointless and annoying and made your words extremely hard to comprehend. I know other people do it, let them do it wrong, please do not emulate them. Rant over, I hope no offense is taken but I also hope you won't do that again. I would like to continue watching your videos but won't be able to if there is background music behind speech.

You don’t have to be so rude. You would just politely ask: “Can you please refrain from adding music while you talk because it makes it difficult to hear you. Thanks!”
