man u guys seriously have the best and most in depth xrt reviews rn man, this channel definitely has potential, u never seem to fail to bring entertaining content, like none of the other channels have even properly skatepark bashed a xrt properly , let alone put sledgehammer tires on it and did a double backflip, really awesome content, and not surprized the spur and pinion shattered, this was honsetly impressive that after all that abuse only the gears stripped and nothing else broke, traxxas gears are not know to be durable and honestly this is pretty tough, sledgehammers definitely make it look like an enlarged sledge even more lol, just get an enlarged sledge body and u got a big brother lol

What thickness of shock oil is this? Seems like it needs to be thicker if it's stock. It might chassis slap less hard with thicker oil.

This is exactly what I've been waiting to see, seems to be perfect + it looks like a big brother of my 4x4 Rustler 😍 Do they rub against the body when suspension gets compressed while turning? Btw there are now Sledgehammer tires on XRT rims, part number 7876, a bit cheaper than these old ones too!

They technically did. The gear case has a bearing in the top that's supposed to keep the pinion on the shaft if it comes loose

The bigger tires changes the gear ratio so might want to keep an eye on that.

So upgrade your spur and pinion to strengthen your drivetrain and you should simply increase your speed while lowering acceleration slightly

did the pinion just fall off? either way the sintered metal gears are trash and easy fix, rrp pinion and hot racing spur problem solved

Them double back flips were super close! You should do a video with the xmaxx tires on and then the XRT tires. Do the same exact jumps and turns. Do like a split screen. Show which tires are best ultimately.

I really want one all of my cars are arrma but this captures my eye!!! I research and all I keep finding it’s that gears ruin constantly spur gears and diffs!! Don’t wanna pay $1000 dollars and can’t drive it

Why break it deliberately? Next you'll be saying "send it" and "launching to the moon". I'd be more impressed if you nailed the jumps rather than belly flopping onto edges. To each their own. Just seems a waste to me.
