XRS Strut brace find & Almost wrecked my engine!

Any discontinued Aftermarket parts for the Matrix/Corolla become more rare and some times difficult to find over time , i found this locally on offer up and had to add it to my collection. Few days Later was going to visit my friend about an hour away and topped off my oil and forgot to put it back on i think i made it about 5-7 miles when it hit me that i forgot and pulled over, i did not loose much oil who knows how much further i could have gone before i wrecked the engine due to low/no oil, luckily the cap was still on top of the valve cover

Nice find. May I ask from where and how much? Also, does the hood insulation just come out? I tried on mine and those push clips won't budge.

I found it locally on offer up, guy wanted 100 but I got it for less. I had to break the clips, they didn't seem to want to come out without doing so but I have a bag of random car clips and just replaced them
how did the xrs factory strut bar feel compared to the TRD strut bar

matrix has been down the past few weeks so i havent really had any time driving around the near by canyons with it. will be back and running in like 2 more weeks and let you know a bit after that maybe make a follow up video on the entire car

Haven't decided yet my car was down for a tad over a month so I have really got a feel between the 2. Will have a new video on what happened probably in a day or 2
