Haha every Melbourne car enthusiast knows the 3 spots that are always action-packed. Thursday/Friday/Saturday nights from about 9pm-5am the place to be is the 'Princess Drags' ( Princess highway anywhere starting from Noble Park all the way just past Chadstone shopping Centre. If you're driving, there during that time don't be surprised too realistically have anywhere from 0 to 10 or 15 cars at the red light all booting it. If burnouts are more your thing (or watching) then usually Wednesday night is (i won't be to specific for the jacks seeing this) a northern suburbs industrial estate. Some weeks there are 100+ cars and hundreds of people. Then on the weekends, the south-east burnouts get a good turnout) - again without specifics head to Carrabine Markets entrance and wind your window down. There's two big industrial estates very close. The one on the right is usually the pick but sometimes the left (cough tennis cough) is rocking. Most of all, DRIVE SAFE. Don't push your limits. And if you haven't spent a few hours on a skid pan don't be the idiot who puts others' lives at risk trying to impress people in a 300rwkw car that you have owned for a few weeks!

Love your XR6T. Good to see you fixed it up after the initial disappointment with the car. Those rims look great but a good upgrade would be Enkei 17s or 18s with PS5s, F1 Asymmetric 6 or the Continental Sport 7s:)

Hey I’ve been really happy with it , so much safer then using my phone mount , and also has an amazing reverse camera which I forgot to show , hit up, I got mine supplied and installed from Mick from “barra scan” give him a follow and a message on Facebook or Insta and ask him for a quote on your specific model

We all know VL’s don’t ever have a working set of tail lights. 😂 Their wiring harness and seals were poor. Loved the video George

They also melt fuse boxes, rust out the front and rear window frames and the auto's shit the overdrive washer and shudder when going into OD. Otherwise great car LOL. I inherited one years ago and moved it on, too much work tbh.

Feels really solid when driving , just vibrates a lot on idle , everyone I’ve spoken too reckons stock ones are fine unless pushing heaps of power like over 600rw , if you’re gonna race it alot do it but just street driving stock should be fine I’m no expert on the subject though

@@georgeauto Appreciate the reply mate. Did you just do engine mounts or the gearbox too? I understand there will be some more vibration but is it bearable? I've flogged out 2 standard mounts so want something more substantial but am concerned the vibration will be too much so if it isn't super noisy I'm in. I'm no snowflake though, the F6 isn't a daily, I just want the best.

Hey it’s a Turbosmart 50mm pro gate , it’s set up super hidden coming off a custom hole in the rear of the turbo housing with the standard actuator welded shut

Haltech was a plug and play, set up by Jason from Tunnel Vision, the gauge I wired in and set up myself

yeah I found that out after I installed them, I feel like after driving it for a bit its not as bad, while driving its unnoticeable but idle, shakes the whole car, I broke a new mount only 2 months in so this is a permanent fix

@George Auto I'm in same boat man.just installed new ones see how long they last otherwise there really isn't any other options around. Any type of stronger part especially in drive train always has a trade off as to how it drive compared to factory.

Not too sure myself , they come in different rear housing sizes mine is a 1.06 , turbo is currently maxxed out and one of my limiting factors along with my gearbox still being stock

@@georgeauto the number of XR6T's under 350rwkw now would be extremely low. Over 450 would be not a MASSIVE number but not insignificant, especially where E85 is easy to get. 21psi in an AU XR6 with a SOHC on 98 myself and people don't think it's a sleeper (actually they just think it's a Barra...)
