xr400 JDay Monson monster moto 1 6-19-16

The woods were rocky and dusty and the hill-climb was dry and loose.
I had a great start and got a 2nd!

Dude you made everything else look slow in this video! The XR400 is one of the most iconic dirt bikes ever built. An absolute blast to ride, great performance once uncorked, bulletproof, tractor torque and super easy to go fast as hell on in the tight and twisty stuff. 👍🏻

How did it work out? I'm either gonna take my -97 XR400R shocks to a shop for service or retrofit an entirely different setup. Did the CRF forks/clamps fit easily? Did you use the xr or crf front wheel? Thanks!

Do you mind listing your mods (if any) I've been looking at one of these XR400 beasts or the CRF450x... leaning more towards the 400 thought because everyone who has one loves them. I ride mostly steep and rocky stuff in American Fork Canyon in Utah. Occasional trip down south to the desert or dunes.

Hey Trey thanks for watching! Reliability is the first thing people say when talking xr400 They are fun to ride and can climb nasty stuff like nothing else.. in my opinion check my about tab on my channel to see the mods.the only new thing is the electron carb and man, that carb really rips on that bike! Good luck and stay safe my friend!
