XR Flat Tracker - Episode #9

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Well, this is the last video for the this series. Well, for now. No race bike is ever finished and in fact it's first outing made apparent that it needed a new rear brake setup and that was done but after this. Maybe if there's interest I'll continue to document this bikes journey.

I am reading through your build thread on advrider and am blown away at the quality of this build. Inspiring stuff for my simple XR100 build.

The story telling in this video was impressive. Way to build the suspense. I can't wait for the GS build. I almost want it to be the ongoing build like Project Binky.

Ever seen “Dust to Glory”? I felt like I was watching something just like it smack dab in the middle when you were trying to diagnose the ECU problem. The developing story was awesome. Really really likes this one. Best one so far. Keep it coming. 🏆🏆

Hey Gregor, just finished watching all 9 videos. Well done and thank you. I really hope you continue Vloging all your upcoming projects. I'm trying to find doner bikes now for a project. Xr75 or Xr100. Cheers!

Thanks! I guess they're basically the same motor. 75's are sort of cooler. 100's are plentiful.

“Too much compression to kick over” it’s an xr100 engine that’s fucking awesome 🤣

The kicker is weak and it’s probably 12:1 on race gas. It will bump pretty easy but it’s too hard to kick over!

Covid canned the dyno time that was planned. There's an ignition issue to chase and I haven't had the chance to get into it.

Theres a ton of mini moto classes that run xr100's. There extreamly reliable and parts are cheap. Here in Ohio we have the OMRL that races 125s on cart tracks. Pretty cool. Look into it!
