That firefighter's plan was literal brain rot, once you put out the forest fire around the cabin the fire's just going to spread again from the house. They could have spent literally like 2 minutes getting Loretta out first and then used the water to control it while waiting for backup. Poor judgement is literally the worst thing for a first responder to have. Whoever puts people like this in roles of leadership are irresponsible.

Not defending their idiotic actions but forest fires are hard to re-enlight on already extinguished fire because of already burned material or the area being too wet. Their priorities were completely wrong and I'm sure, with the relatively small house, could have broken a window to save Loretta. Then having left over water to perimeter some area with a technique called Water Line, if they had any urgency they could quickly save Loretta before the house fire roared. Afterwards, manually clean up the baby forest fire. A good captain should've been there to call fast shots but he was too busy capturing Snapchat stories of the event.

Being a firefighter means putting your own life in danger to save others. Firefighters should have been in the house the SECOND they arrived there. Their suits are made for it.

The first story surprised me so much. Because we recently moved into an apartment, and are having the same issue with our neighbour, but I think he’s just banging on the floors to spite us for no reason… we are not loud at all, it’s just me and my mom and our small dog that does not make any noise. The same issue is that we cannot afford to move out anymore, my mom took out multiple. credits, and I also took up a job to be able to afford a new place (moving out and furtniture is so expensive, esp since this apartment was completely empty), because our old place was extremely unsafe and also a mess. We were so happy to be able to afford to move into a new place, but now it’s more of a nightmare than we could’ve ever imagined. The people that lived here before us also moved out because of the upstairs neighbours, but we were never informed of this before moving in:( And we can also not get help from any organisation that we have contacted, police calls usually end up in them (our neighbour/s) not even wanting to open their door and the whole thing just goes unreported. I have started having crazy sleep paralysis because of my crazy sleeping schedule, because my neighbour would bang at ungodly hours, as well as anxiety as soon as I hear banging. my mom and I are non confrontational people, so we do not like calling the police or aggressive encounters, especially as 2 women living alone. We have tried talking to the neighbour multiple times, but every time he is aggressive towards my mom and cusses her out. We just wanna live normal lives:( could go on forever but rant is over lol I’ll stop yapping lmfao

Apartments should have weekly-ish meetings to discuss this sort of stuff with the owners and residents. Specifically the residents should be aware of any things that could be disturbing other people and they should be in constant contact in case something could escalate. I can only think you aren't the only ones hearing the noise and having someone to call nearby, plus this someone being the most neighbours possible, seems the only way to better the situation. Sorry for the rant, but this was upsetting to read

Even if some of these reddit stories are fake, I find them entertaining and it's interesting to see chat react, xqc react and to see comments about everything. It's like we are learning together about a hypothetical scenario and if it ever happens to one of us or to someone we know or just in general. We will have this knowledge we spoke about and be more prepared for the possibilities. Like, you might not know something regarding a real situation,but now you know it in advance,in case it happens. Overall though it has entertainment value.

Doors were blocked and people couldnt get out while screaming in panic, 4 minutes later everything was on fire and silent. Someone survived it actually by being covered in corpses, so protected from the flames.

There is pretty much no point is reading it in Russian either. I steak Russian and asked my Russian friends to read it but non of us could make any sense of it. Well atleast it was somewhat painless usually you pass out completely before catching on fire. She probably passed out completely after screaming and getting a full breath of smoke.

The thing said about intention is actually true, when our daughter was first born for the first half a year when she would start crying sometimes our party happy upstairs neighbor would call the landlord on us and complain.
