Nice review. I am looking forward to buy a new phone. And I want a clean Android experience, dual SIM and some usable photos. I am looking at the Sony Xperia 10 IV and 10 III. The price difference is about 100$ between them. Which one do you think is better in terms of long term usage and for the buck? I am guessing that 10mk iv will get longer updates. So I think the extra 100$ will be worth it for an extra year of updates... What would you suggest? Some say that in some perspective 10mk4 is a downgrade from 10mk3 because of the processor. PS: 5G is not important for me and I don't play games at all. I also saw your comparison between iPhone se2 and Sony 10 mk3 and I was impressed. Thanks and looking forward to your reply, hopefully 🤗

Overall if you do not need to record 4k 30fps videos the 10 IV is the better choice as the CPU is faster and the whole experience more fluid.

@@lltechview Thank you for your reply and for your advice. I do not need the 4k video. For photos I use mainly my Fuji cameras, but sometimes is good to have a decent camera on the phone too. 😁 I want a reliable day to day phone - which I am going to keep for the next 3 years. At least this is my intention. 🤭 I use my phone for email, browsing, occasionally listening to music, some KZread, social media, messaging and banking. Therefore I think Sony 10 iv will be indeed a great option. Thanks again and best of luck! 🤗

I much prefer the warmer color science on the iPhone XS (which I have), but I’m happy that mid range phones have finally matched or even surpassed it, and if the 10 V has a CPU that gets close to the a12 I think it might be an actually worthy upgrade to my great but slightly outdated iPhone.

Can you do a battery test of the Xperia 10 iv comparing to other phones? I think it is superb, I have never owned a phone that has this much battery life. With conservative use of brightness, I get 14 hours screen on time. I do not think anything is even close to it especially at its size (under 170 grams, even under 200 grams)

@@lltechview here in usa it is $400 or equivalent to 400 euros. so i think its a good deal. plus with my small hand i have no other choice at this price point that has sd card and audio jack.

Xperia's api2 is amazing, in fact every Xperia from Z family the api2 had some hidden setup. Only Hedcam2 can match PhotoPro and may result some amazing shots when changing some noise and sharp from factory mod. Xperia still amazing! Good review!

Were is this api2 thing in the Xperia? Hoe can I access it? It's not in the options or even in the developer options, I have looked everywhere.

Video super iPhone is old but xperia is new ,iam using OnePlus Nord ce phone but iam not happy because sony xperia my favourite this model phone

My xa2 ultra- the predecessor of 10 series can record 4k 30fps hdr while the latest of 10 series can't. That sounds weird 😫

Can erase shutter noise, expandable memory with micro SD cards, dual SIM, 4K video, 3D scanner, super slow motion video, changeable photo qualities, colour warmness/coolness, special photo features etc etc. and mirror on smart 4K/8K TVs, projectors, brand new VAIO laptops etc by SONY. All professionals, TV clues, museum curators use SONY.

This mobile is not available in pakistan but I want to perches this mobile

what should i choice between xperia 1ii and xperia 10iv if neglect the price

@@lltechview Yeah but I simply don't see an excuse to have such cr@ppy microphones on a 400 dollar phone. This is the only video I have found where I can properly compare the phones' built in microphones against each other, so thank you for that. Although I noticed in some of your other comparison videos you tend to use an external microphone. While I understand you do that to have better audio quality, I would much rather put up with some wind noise and such, but be able to hear and evaluate what the actual phones are capable of recording. Anyway you have some great content, keep it up!

Better at photos though for video the iPhone is still nicer imo.

The side fingerprint button is very bad... Medicore device. Bery good battery life. I have one...

probably yes, 14th can already be compared with, Xperia 1 Mark 4 and so any iPhone from the photo will not be better than even 10 Xperia and many other Chinese

The 10 iv came out in 2022 so you should compare to iPhone 13

Dang, might as well said Galaxy A05 came out in 2024 so it should be compared to iPhone 15. His video was about comparing midranger (in this case Xperia 10 IV) to old flagship from 3-4 year ago (in this case iPhone XS) which was almost the same price.

Thanks for another interesting video. Overall I prefer the results from the Xperia. Four years is a long time with regard to the improvements in sensor technology of which pixel count would be one factor. Some months ago I bought an iPhone X as a means of a low price entry into the iOS with the accompanying guaranty of continuing firmware updates.

Everyone know iphone are the king of videos. I already use both phones and still I go for iPhone not because I'm Fan boy I like simplicity of camera app and point and shoot .

Yep. The chipset is limiting the output and the sensors are also average.

so in sense the phone cameras is at least better than a phone released 2018. lol
