As a photography enthusiast, Xperia is way better than Fake looking shots from Samsung or other devices in the market. I like the colour science of Xperias which is flat with no curve in colour spectrum and its very easy to edit as per my own taste. After editing results will blow other smartphones out of the park.

The woman looked "not as pale" on the s24, which many people will prefer, but you looked way better on the xperia compared to s24. That s24 shot was just not it. Thanks for the review!

I was fed up with the forced and very aggressive post processing, the illogical battery drain in many apps and finally the random heating (which got uncomfortable when I had the phone in my pocket) on my Galaxy S24 Ultra, so that I decided to give the Xperia 1 VI a shot ... Yeah, the Screen and the telephoto Zoom is inarguably better on the S24 Ultra, but I fell in love with the battery life, the Overall performance, the haptics and the natural looking photos of the Xperia I VI ... In the end, it is a personal preferences, but I think that Samsung partly overpromises in certain key features and undelivers, which is Not very trustworthy at all. Especially at that price Tag, this is very disappointing... Anyway, great Video :) P.S.: Liebe Grüße aus 1030 (bin auch ein Wiener 😅)

@@techmo2020 100% agree - in terms of UI, I also prefer the more stock-Android-esque approach and it´s clean look (OneUI is also great and has a lot of great unique features, but again: only a personal preference) P.S.: Das wird immer die beste Seite bleiben (ich komme ursprünglich aus Transdanubien/Mordor :D)

Why do you think the screen is better on the s24 ultra? Also döner 3.5 € are you kidding me? The lowest Iive seen here in berlin is like 4.50€, and most go for like 6€ right now... Yeah things have gotten very expensive over just a couple of years

Thanks mate that's very kind of you. To be frank I had the Xiaomi 14 but I returned it since it didn't get views and I moved on from it, and also my unit had an issue. I can tell you the battery life and camera is better IMHO, but it has two issues. For one the updates are irregular, and for two I encountered fogging on my lens and I've heared it's a known issue which the unit may or may not have it.

Mine gets warm too. I recently did a throttle test on my S24 Ultra and my S22 Ultra. I ran the test for 10 minutes at 100 threads. I was surprise to see that the 8 Gen 3 in the S24 Ultra throttled way worse than the 8 Gen 1 in the S22 Ultra. The S24 Ultra got much hotter and finished the test throttled down to 62%, while the S22 Ultra only throttled down to 82%.

This is a good comparison and it explains some interesting aspects.Since this camera format is limited by many aspects compared to a big sensor camera it says a lot about the approach of this 2 devices.Samsung is more main stream and the over sharpness and other software tricks are needed to be able to catch good but not perfect shots with more consistency where sony try to find a balance and it seems more emphasized on people and animals and it is less consistent but with more to offer if you have time to prepare a shot.This are 2 different cameras, top cameras as much as it could be on a smartphone with 2 different approaches.Again, main stream wise it is clear for me that Samsung is the better device and Sony missed out the opportunity to add a quad dac to make the jack a real useful feature where your headphones sounds better wired as it should.Without the xm5 headphones the sony is ridiculously priced.

I am trying to choose between sony s24 ultra and honor magic 6 Pro and I am struggling. Today I checked the Sony and the s24 ultra side by side... And to be honest I liked the Sony cameras more. Even the display of the Sony that was my biggest concern was fine. If you had to pick one which one would you choose?

Hi! I mostly like the Xperia better, yes it's not very zoom oriented which is a bit of a shame, but I'm still glad I traded my s24 ultra for the Xperia 1 VI. I mostly don't like the camera of the s24 ultra and its color gamut has become terribly bad and wrong, most of the photos are too artificial for me, and in addition, it is constantly hot and the battery has immediately become particularly bad. I no longer have a galaxy s24 ultra and now I have a very high quality Xperia 1 VI Khaki Green! Thank you, this video was very valuable, I had the same results with s 24 ultra and sometimes even worse photos, yellow-oranges and greens were always such a toxic shade. I don't know what happened to the s24 ultra but I'm not the only one who had/has all sorts of problems with this phone! The Xperia is still very good and the battery still lasts really long and the color gamut of the camera is still wonderful.

I noticed you were using photo mode. did you use the Pro mode thats how you ment to use Sony. If you use the pro mode in Samsung vs Sony the samsung in my my testing fell apart as it needs the AI so much

Maybe it's a good idea to compare against a pixel instead of a Samsung? And if you're going to be taking photos using the main lens, I think you probably might as well just get a used old Xperia because they're pretty much all got good main lenses. For that Sony look

What I don't get is why Sony doesn't give best sensors on their phones 🤦 Oppo find x7 ultra and Vivo x100 ultra makes Sony 1 VI look like a upper mid range phone. Also video stabilisation has gotten worse in recent Sony phones compared to my Sony 5 iii.

Samsung's selfie camera is actually much better on the regular S24 Exynos than the Snapdragon powered S24 Ultra because it doesn't over process so much.😊

@@ijustlearnhowtochange For now, these are my observations: Advantages of S24U: 1. Operating system (animations, smoothness, automatic additions, for instance text scanning). In general, OneUI seems more refined to me. 2. A set of cameras (at the moment, the photos from the S24U are simply nicer, but this is a subjective opinion, of course). Zoom is currently in a different level in terms of quality than in Xperia. 3. Dex and S-Pen are nice additions and good to have them when paying so much for the phone (Xperia is like an iPhone - naked) 4. The screen of the s 24U is currently the best screen of all flagships - the armor glass and reflection-damping layer are a great invention. 5. In your hand you feel that it is not a toy but a premium device ;) 6. Video quality is better for now. Additionally, you can set whether the phone should sharpen the photos or not. It works very nicely. Xperia's advantages: 1. Speakers and audio quality on the phone speaker, in my opinion, is even better than on the iPhone 2. A little smaller and fits better in the hand 3. For some, pure Android - for me, for example, it's a minus, I prefer Samsung's OneUI. 4. Tele-Macro - a very interesting invention that has potential. 5. Support for audio codecs (Aptx, LDAC) that are missing in Samsung. 6. Memory card slot and 3.5mm audio jack. 7. The battery lasts longer, but apparently Samsung will improve it in the June update.

As an ordinary user instead of pro photographer; I liked S24U picture more than Xperia..

Recently Samsung phones skin tone has become horrible like iphone, completely avoid Samsung and iphone if you want to look good in photos. Vivo phones are the best for that.
