Thanks! I just needed an overview of what XML is and this video did exactly that.
The pacing was comfortable and answered questions a beginner had. With this I feel confident learning the next part of XML viewing in Excel.
Thank you so much :D I could understand everything!
Thank you very much from Italy. Very clear and thorough.

Two things would have been nice to add to your video: explain what is is, the other is the syntax; that is, the delimiter

Cool video! I do have a small question though.. In the beginning you show an XML structure tree. What program/website did you use to make this graph? Because I think it's really clear and I'd like to use it for my projects as well!

Hello! I am downloading videos from my Sony Camera to my Chromebook. For each video file, there is an XML file. My computer won't let me open the XML file because I need to download an extension for it. However, do I need to download both the Video File (MP4) and the XML file together? Will not doing so affect the video file in anyway? Thanks in Advance!
Thanks Bro

It's been awhile since I watched some of your tutorials, now that's I'm focusing on Android development, I realized I have to learn this too and not just core Java.
Can you please make a tutorial video series on Android studio? Please 🙏🙏.. your tutorials are very good
Cool video, I just have a doubt...Can we storage more than 1 tree in only one xml file?
sir i am a beginner students so, I do't know about xml. I am actually asking about the short-cut key which help to expand the scripting tag so it's make me easy to programming.
Hi Clever Techie, I would like to create a form. But how to use XML to design a form? Is there any video on that? I am stuck with XSD. I am learning XSD and XML now and able to understand the concept. But then how to use XML to create a form? Does the form has to be an online form or it could just be a Microsoft Excel form?
i can define my own tags when using CSS too. Also, looking at this, it seems as if is a class. If there was some way we could use a language like CSS to create classes for XML.

Great video, just trying my hand at XML as I am modifying code used in Unified Remote for my iPad. So, I have a question, I hear that you mentioned XML is the data, and I have modified the code for a PLEX remote player to use play, rewind, pause etc etc. My question is this, The icons, or the text I label the buttons with seems to only present at one size, I cannot change the text size, font, or boldness no matter how I try. Is this where CSS comes in, and of so, how is it Incorporated into the xml layout. Here is an example of what I am trying to achieve, maybe it is not possible. Link to example - imgur.com/TdiJci8 Anyway, any help pr direction would be greatly appreciated.

The presentation of the data (the icons, text, label of the buttons) is not an XML business. I don't know how they programmed these things in your Unified Remote, but for web development it's generally CSS. See if you can find any style.css file or something and try modify that.

If we want to store or transfer data, simply can use MS OFFICE like ms word, Excel etc. But y we are using XML
Can you explain what it means to seperate information from presetation I'm still a bit confused.

He sounds like Qazi from Clever Programmer
But why write data this way? Like what's the point when you can just have it visible through html?
1:) What kind information we can store and to be used by what? What system code can read and use it for what? :D can you make a real time example pls :)
So basically, it was an HTML version of JSON, am I right?
Why would we want to create our own tags? I'm still somehow missing the point.

what if you transferring data about your employees, will you name tags "product/product name"?
Meh. You hardly answered my questions sadly. Why is the first line ?xml? Why doesnt it have a closing tag? Why is it not shown on your second presentation? Why do some opening tags have information inside (productListing)? What is the difference between this type and information and the information between the tags? Can you give an example how you can use this information?
.XML synatx seems like HTML syntax.

Did you even watch the video champ?
Stored and transported where? Why? Used for what? All I saw was a bunch of code and a nicely presented hierarchy diagram. I need to see it in action to understand what XML is used for, if that's even the right way to put it. This was not for beginners.

@@TomTKKBut where is the actual finished version of whatever the XML code is for? Also, if it’s just used to write down data or information, why does it have to be in a computer language? Why can’t you just get a notepad and write a regular list or excel spreadsheet? If we both speak English, why do i need to give you my grocery list written in Chinese? Lol
@TomTKK
4 ай бұрын
@TrunxKraft3000 What you're seeing in this video is just what the developer sees before publishing it to a website for example. No one shares information to others via XML, nor do they write to each other in computer code, XML is a way of always keeping data structured and always the same, no matter what record you pull up. If I need to write a automated script to pull an order, a school report, a movie list, I'd ask the script to look at or or something, and I'd be certain I'd be getting that information without having to look through a written message.
