Use the XLOOKUP, the new versatile multipurpose function, is a function when you need to find things/values/information in a table or a range by row or both by row and column, means both Vertically and Horizontally at the same time with just one formula in the form of nested XLOOKUP. For example, look up the account name of account by the account id, or find a student name based on their student id or roll no. With XLOOKUP, you can look in one column for a search term, keywords, wildcards etc, and return a result from the same row in another column, regardless of which side the return column is on which means unlike vlookup and hlookup (which look or search to right only), the xlookup can search both at the right and left. This effectively reduce the use of or get rid of the index - match functions combination altogether.

I think they are nicely devised and greatly executed to make the learning experience evern more awesome. great sir. this playlist has just about everything about this new awesome XLOOKUP function. the left right lookup, wildcards and now in this video with multiple criteria or conditions. appreciated
It really is multidimensional and very versatile function. You can do almost every type of search and lookup with it. Left or right... Wildcards Top Bottom and Bottom Top And multiple conditions or criteria. The Only covet is that it is not available for the ordinary user yet
