I almost cried when I watched this. When Alicia asked “Have you been hurt”, I feel sad for her. She has been suffered a lot. She is just a young, exquisite, hard-working girl. When she performs, I can feel she does it as the last time. All the power, energy... she puts all in her performance. Me too. I cant help but cry. How can they blame her? When in the 1st place, the mngt wont even allow her to participate in some shows, telling her she wont fit, she is not popular or they will not like her. How hurtful can that be? I am just glad that she has strong will and determination. This wound is what causing her to worry about almost everything. I hope she is starting to heal now. Go Xin. A lot of people are appreciating you and love.

Her haters can't find a good way to attack her talent (she can sing, rap and dance so almost no holes there lol) so they attack her style and appearance. I'm guessing some of the haters just blamed her more boyish look for why her group didn't get popular and why it had to disband.

Although Xin told Alicia that she didn’t think that the group was dissolved because of her style but I believe that back in the past when receiving those opinions, she must have doubted herself quite a lot. It’s not easy to raise this issue now but she hopes that it will not happen again with the debut group. I think she is trying her best to be more “blended” when in a girl group. I really hope it will work well then and Xin Liu can leave behind all the doubts and critics in the past ❤️

It wasn't the media (the group wasn't that popular so it's not like there was a large media following for them), it was some of the fans on Chinese threads. I think a few of the members got blamed to an extent, I heard Snow got blamed by some fans, the leader was blamed as well, and Xin was the center so she naturally got a lot of the flak too. It's not Xin's or any of the members fault though, I would say they flopped due to poor management and styling rather than any of the members.

Alicia talk session is on point ... She gave good point .. very meaningful to the trainee

I'm sure the platforms that didn't want LYX before are going to be calling AMG and begging her to make an appearance after this show. LYX is the breakout star of this season, more than anyone else, she's gained the most through QCYN2 and has become one of the hottest topics of discussion on Weibo and Douban over the past month and a half. I know her first EP sold in the double digits and very few people listened to it, but I wouldn't be surprised if her next EP sold 1 mm+ and topped the charts. wow, so much blessing for her after her struggles in life. i hope she can be loved by a lot of her country peoples as an artist in the future..with her solo career and with her group the nine now.

Chinese idols was not attractive to me in the past because I always thought that their dance and singing abilities were not as good as Koop stars. One day I watched Xin Liu’s stage by chance,she totally changed my mind!!She can dance,rap and sing so well...like a full package. I still think you are generally right, the idols that come out of Korea tend to be more polished and skilled than the average idol that comes out of a Chinese company. China is such a big country though that there are definitely a few exceptional talents - Xin is one of the most talented female idols to come out of China in a while! Yeah, the thing is, korea creates and does strict management of groups, they’re like the model. China on the other hand, groups aren’t really much successful bc not many Chinese like groups, they prefer soloists as u can see, they don’t do those shows dedicated for all groups like mama, or those group award events. China only does New Years, showcases, and the fact that some companies don’t promote or manage well, But they’re now opening up to ideas of groups.

Also Xin Liu her image may not be what ppl think an idol girl should look like but we should start accepting everyone for what they look like and that’s what I like abt the show. Many diversity of looks. It really breaks stereotypes!

This survival show really different from others. No cruel editing, valuable sharing sessions, they give the contestants to show their hidden talents and abilities. I’ve been watching cuts only, now i’m gonna watch the full episodes

It's a new mindset about life that is not fair and because of that we tend to blame the world.. This mentor is so knowledgeable and wise!

Xin left her home at the young age of 12 to Beijing to achieve her dream and that mean she got more free will to do whatever she wants to pursue her dreams and finding her true self and style is the most important thing for her without her parents nagging her. Her mother even got surprised and "scolded" poor Xin that after Beijing her appearance has changed drastically as a "boy". Xin said that she doesn´t see herself as a tomboy, she is what she is, herself, LIU YUXIN. This is one of the biggest challenge in her life that have shaped Xin to who she is now, she have had identity crisis (and she might still have it as for the case that she still do not understand why people can´t accept she being true to herself) and that she have felt that she let her mother down that time. It shows in her personality that she is reserved, introvert and she said that she doesn´t want to hang out with people a lot with that reason that people always have something negative to say about her appearance. Receiving negative comments from stereotypical and homophobic people about her style and hair is the worst thing than avoiding guys pulling her hair when she was little, seriously speaking, she is still struggling with people accepting her appearance and you can see that on this show when she asked about advice from Kun and Alicia exactly about this matter. Xin even suggested about wearing a wig for the song "I´m Not Yours" with Lisa to challenge her appearance to see if it will affect her rank and public votes, Xin testing her limits is very admirable. I really hope that she will find and accept herself before others but I know she feels pressured because she wants to become successful as an artist and performer as well as being loved by the public. I would really like to give this advice as well *You need to first learn how to accept and love being yourself before others and that is when people can start liking your true values and colors* and I really think that Xin have achieved it seeing her on this show and how many international fans she have gained has been very successful, I really hope she will keep this pace and be true to herself. She did not receive much recognition in the past because then the world was not ready or used to someone special like Xin liu but now I honestly feel like it's her time to shine and that the world needs someone new ,fresh , unique like her.

From the way she talks, she has experienced too many moments and it's hurting her. she tried to not get overwhelmed when asking such questions and instead she be brave for it and open up abt things that truly concerned her. she deserves so much and yes, I agreed. everyone is a free soul and nobody is rightful to define how girl like her or any girls, by the way they dressed up, whether they keep a long hair/short hair, did they put on make-up or anything. it's not about that. it's all about being true to yourself, and be brave about it. people cannot accept the way she is although she's very talented, and they can't see that. this show helps more people to recognize her, her true value, and insights of her personalities. she's a great person. I came here once I found out she won as the center! SHE HAS FINALLY MADE IT!

I have to give it to Alicia!! She's such a role model and you can tell that she has a lot of wisdom and experience. I'm so glad the girls managed to talk to her and got plenty advice. it’s really painful to be blamed for something that is totally not your fault. i’m glad that xin liu didn’t think of changing her style because of that blaming issue. instead, she strived hard to prove to her haters that she can be on top just by being herself. i really adore her when she became the center for the theme song, she fought that women should wear clothes that they are comfortable with, not the clothes that others want them to wear. I’M PROUD THAT SHE FINALLY TOOK THE 1ST PLACE. WAY TO GO, X QUEEN. UMs will always be here for you.
