I completely agree that this debut is absolute FIRE!!!! Every song is EPIC!!! And Xikers are already performance BEASTS right out the gate!!! They have so much charisma and energy!!! I love that Xikers have their own concept and storyline, and the album ties in perfectly with it. It's very cohesive. I read that their name "Xikers" is a combo of "X", as in coordinates on a map and "Hikers" - as in travelers - & their storyline involves them traveling the world looking for coordinates (going on a wild journey). I also read that "their concept is that they are GOBLINS (look at their "goblin" signature character wearing the ghost looking white hoodie). The MV Korean title for Tricky House directly translates to 'Goblin House'. So unlike western 'ghosts/spirits' which are associated with the death of a human, in Korean lore they're nature-like spirits, and that's why you see the blue flames throughout the Tricky House MV, since goblins are associated with blue flames in Korean lore. Goblins (in Korean lore) can also transform into different things and take on different forms and so on" : Dokkaebi (Korean: 도깨비) are legendary creatures from Korean mythology and folklore. Dokkaebi, also known as "Korean goblins", are nature deities or spirits possessing extraordinary powers and abilities that are used to interact with humans, at times playing tricks on them and at times helping them. (From Wikipedia). I'm so excited for them! And so proud of Xikers, KQ, Eden/Edenary & Hongjoong! GO, XIKERS!!!!!

I am now stanning Xikers not because they are my 8 husbands baby brothers but because they are just freaking talented. They can dance, sing and rap well live considering that they just debuted. I have a dream to see Ateez and xikers performing together on stage. That would be a fire. It is super cool to see Ateez and xikers names together in the intro. It's so beautiful.

I definitely agree with you, Oh My Gosh gave me Ateez vibes, especially in the first part. I could hear Jongho/Mingi in the opening, then Wooyoung, then San, then Yeosang, then Hongjoong with the rap, then San, then Yunho, then Jongho with the highnote to into the chorus, then Seonghwa/Yunho in the chorus with Woouyoung's "Oh My Gosh", Seonghwa with the last part of the chorus and then Yunho with Yeosang's "Oh My Gosh". I got Say My Name vibes in the chorus, maybe because of the horn (?) sounds

In the future, their concerts on world tours will be amazing. I can already imagine it. They just need to grow up a little more.

they are waaay more experimental than i was expected but i love it, they are so good they can do anything!

Joker vibes. Yes that's what I feel too. I know it just their first album but I can see how their color is very jumpy, experimental, but also kinda scary and taunting, but still fun and crazy. so joker is a perfect word to summarize it all. Also how Hongjoong is the producer for this album and how he also has the same joker vibe kinda makes sense. But it's on different direction and in a good way. I also really love this album so much.

Mischievous is the exact word tt came to mind when I first listened to xikey during the showcase livestream. That switch up at the end had me laughing the whole time. Wth did tt come from?! Hahaha. It was at that point that I GOT their concept. Oooh this gonna be a really fun ride

It's a strong debut! I personally really love Xikey, but all of the songs are great. Imagine how much more they'll grow and discover they're own identities with the group. It's going to be fun to watch. Something that I notice when watching the Tricky House MV is that when the man is going around, xikers aren't really there but there as wisps. It makes me think that xikers are mischevious spirits or tricksters more so than explorers as was mentioned. Also with the different sounding songs, and the visuals in TH, I'm getting funhouse or carnival. Maybe House of Illusions or something, you know? I'm also very proud of xikers and Ateez too because they've grown enough to have hoobaes. That must mean something to them.

YESSSSS the bloody nostalgia 🙈🙈🙈

This is my first debut and following their journey since the beginning, right after reading a theory saying that the child at the end of Guerrilla MV was a new KQ trainee and few weeks lates KQ introduced Minjae and Junmin, makes this debut more meaningful and makes me proud for them. Rockstar is currently MY #1 SOTY contender, it has all the features that makes this song so appealing for me and one of those features is that it has that nostalgic feeling from early 2000 teenage high school tv series/movies that a lot hates but you can’t deny is nostalgic and they are fond memories. I don’t know how to list in order of preferences the b-sides, they are all amazing and powerful. I would like to add one more info about the goblins concept, in many Korean comics and novels dokkaebis are portrayed as furred monsters with horns that are able to travel through space and even different dimensions, that’s why this group is called xikers (x as space coordinates + hikers as travelers) and that’s why in the MV the members keeps moving and appearing from behind and in front of that old man. I still can’t believe they are officially a K-pop group, it has been an hella ride following their journey especially on twitter, 😂. But finally they are here. I’ll keep saying this KQ has done an amazing job for these boys, the fact they were able to perform as KQ FELLAZ 2 at KCON Japan back in October and then performing for the openings at the US TOUR of Ateez made this group ready to perform on stage like a well established K-pop group. If KQ will keep doing this with all their future artists then, I, personally, am going to witness directly the growth of a company and it’s artists (I’m already waiting for KQ future gg, ngl). Petition for KQ to suggest XIKEY as the main and only options for xikers fandom’s name 😂😂😂 (goblins though is acceptable)

Since I just watched the BP finale, it made me imagine ZB1's response--Star Creators really should've kept Kieta. 😂

I was watching MCountdown live for Jimin's performances and saw Xikers live and I was blown away! I had known about them since I've been Atiny for a little while now, but they really exceeded my expectations! Might have to go back and watch their pre-debut show now!

Seeing them from the Player to now debuting, I'm so proud of them! I was also nervous about their debut but I'm glad that I listened to the album with no spoilers, IT WAS AN EXPERIENCE. Their music is so my style too I'm excited to see their growth especially Hyunwoo and Junghoon. Also, the fact that Hunter mentioned that he received help from Yunho is terrifying cause he's already SUCH a good dancer and to have the help of Yunho? He's going to be a problem.

I haven't been watching any of their predebut stuff, so this album has been my introduction to xikers and WOWWWW blown away, amazing, I love the music so much!!! 10/10 album is right!! Thank you for yet another great reaction! I'm really glad you've enjoyed their debut and the entire album. I've mostly seen reactions that go hard on them/were dismissive and it felt like they weren't even given a proper chance but were judged with a preformed prejudice. So seeing your video felt really refreshing. Thank you for that! I have to say, from the previews I immediately had Rockstar singled out as my favorite song, and I'm hoping there is a music video and promotion planned for it, seeing as they wrote Title next to it (or I could be missing some info there). But Oh My Gosh took me by surprise because I fell in love with the song at the first listen. I think this was a quite solid debut album and I have faith that they'll get even better with time. I still don't know everyone's names and roles but major props to this group, they did really well!

I think maybe what kq tried to do is to bring people to shut their mouth when they will listen to the beside, really tricky house is good but it is not really my type but I enjoy it though but when I have listen to the beside, girl my mouth was wide open it was so good, xikey is my favourite 2. doorbell ringing, 3. rockstar, 4. oh my gosh and 5. then tricky house

Don't see anyone commenting on this but Rockstar is actually a title track, which means there's probably going to be an MV for it soon. I'm guessing it's like the system they use for Ateez where they do a double title track thing for some albums, including their debut with Treasure and Pirate King. I'm really looking forward to it because the song is so good, though I'm still disappointed that Xikey didn't get an MV 🥲

They have included a decent amount of the intro to their story here, Goblins and the tricky “energy” released from their creation. In the MV, you can see them as the blue will-o-wisps flying around (classic Korean myths similar to what SKZ used in their Thunderous comeback), their energy escaping when they go crazy, possessing the old man and making him see the other goblins and dance with them, how they can alter reality. Then in Xikey, the lyrics are the power of will-o-wisps enchanting the audience to come in and join them. There are more references in the other songs, but I’m sure you’ll get around to it when the fans start putting theories together. That aside…I mean this debut is just another level. The kind of debut only ATEEZ and KQ could inspire, they are truly taking the mantle and setting the level so high from the start. To think they are only just starting is crazy, can’t even think where they can go from here. Happy to see your reaction!
